Make sure you're setting your engine RPM's and turning WEP on.
Then go full throttle until the plane has reached a good airspeed.
Once you've gotten into the air turn WEP off because it overheats your engine fast.
Be careful on takeoff because you're near stall speeds when you're taking off. Don't pull on the stick or do really sudden maneuvers. Move the plane really smooth.
Are you using a Joystick? If so what joystick? If you're using an X52 I'll send you my AIR CMFL
Awesome thanks! It worked, But got any tips on air combat? Oh and I'm using a Attack 3 logitech joystick.
Oh and how do I drive a tank?
skparagon what you need is a good squad to show you around.
I would recommend you ask to join the 23rd armoured or if you're axis I recommend bose26. Just ask over the help channel for a recruiter.
If this is really what you like trust me it's worth every penny. And your money is being put into very good use.
Alright, I'll consider it.

what would this thread do without you?
what would this thread do without you?
It would die.
But I can't take all credit, I've had a few friends from the game help out.
besides I just can't make the thread and expect it to work by itself :)

You need to use clutches and brakes. If you use the clutch your tank will turn really slow and if you just use the breaks your engine will overheat.
I mapped clutch and breaks on the same key. Works like a charm for me.
But I really REALLY hate paying 200 dollars A YEAR for a game with inferior flight physics and graphics to IL-2, one of my favorite games. Pay to play is BULLSHIT. I could see a $50-60 dollar one time, but 200 dollars per year? No fucking way.

Ok, don't play it then.
I downloaded the trial today. After about half an hour, I managed to take off in a plane. After another half hour, I managed to learn enough to fly to my objective. Strafed a tank. Then I tried to get into a dogfight. However, everytime I try and turn even a little bit, I start blacking out. I'm not even doing that extreme turns. It's aggravating.

Inferior flight physics?
This game uses actual physics for flight. IL-2 runs off of a table. Yeah I agree pay to play sucks but how else would they make the money

What plane?
btw watch the 'g' meter in the top-left of the screen
gamey, perhaps, but it's an attempt to be noob-friendly.
when you hit 4.5Gs, you blackout. -2 to -2.5Gs, redout.
The type of plane could play a part in it as well.
109s seem to have a less resistance to blackouts but really it's how fast the 109 bleeds of E. Do a sharp turn and you'll slow down and you can pull a tighter turn, at the same time however your putting yourself in a bad situation.
The Spitfire is the best E retention plane in game with it's elliptical wings that create so little drag. So it seems like you're more sensitive to G's when really it's the sheer amount of speed the spit can reach and maintain. In a sustained turnfight the spitfire usually comes out on top depending on the skill of the pilot(s).
French planes tend to be more like German planes. Great planes if you master them.
Yep, fun game played it back in 2006 resubbed, but spitfires are evil.
People are constantly bitching about the "pay for play" monthly fees..
Comparing these to IL2 or other "pay once" games..
The largest and greatest difference:
Usually these games where you pay monthly fees are played on a central server.
Everyone is on the same server, at the same time. Doing their thing amidst the other players.
Whereas for example IL2. You can have about 64-128 players MAX online at any time.
The upkeep, configuration, connection fees, peoples' salaries of these "central server kinda games" is where your money is going. Also the constant improvements of the game, engine, simulation and backbone.
The monthly fees are not going to some developers wallet. Or to some big corporations (share)owners.
Of course, IL2 is updated frequently also, but still they have UBIsoft or whatever backing em up. Paying their salaries.

Plus in IL2 you only fly planes, in this you drive boats, tanks, trucks and you get to be infantry.
And the servers are not hosted by the company you're paying.
They're hosted by individual people or organizations that handle the costs in whatever way they handle them.
In the case of ww2ol, the developers maintain server and pay the connection fees.
Bandwidth is not free, as you may know :)
The map should be reset today. If not tomorrow.
Then the next campaign starts.

15x12 is 180 and there are other methods of payment to reduce that amount. Since your experience is IL2..is it my understanding that Oleg uses a flight table and not 6 levels of input. Sorry you don't want to play for pay. Some like it ..some don't
This game should be 5 euro to play. It needs more players badly. But i guess as soon as they got their asian friendly version up there will be quite alot more players.

Actually China is going to be playing on a seperate server.
PRC requirement that Chinese need a separate server. BUT with the size of the MMO market in China CRS is probably going to get a good amount of money from this.
Chinese players also have an anti-addiction program built into the game. After playing continually for 2 hours the game automatically shuts off.
Their version of the game is going to be a lot different then the version you're playing.
Hmm yeah i suppose so if they only have 2hours..LOL.
Sucks though. Good for the money, shit for the players. Not getting their naval patch.

Well CRS has to make tough decisions. Naval players have been getting the boot for several years but this is a business opportunity they can't pass up. China has a massive MMO market.
Also the Chinese will be playing a much simplified version. There's going to be no high commands.
Lol no high commands. Haha oh god. What will be left of the game? Is there a page about the progress on it or something?
edit:
Oh will it have a cash shop? You have to buy everything other than the basic equipment. All other than rank 1s. lol

Actually this game used to have no High Command/ranks/brigades/tiers. It was a giant map where you clicked on a city/AF/dock and hoped there was a fight. You should look around on videos of the original release of the game. They're pretty funny, the initial launch of this game was a complete disaster.
Isn't it still a disaster? Always having too few players..
I mean, even bf1942 has 2000 players in the weekends.

no no no
it was a COMPLETE disaster. When it was first released it was literally unplayable because it wasn't finished, pressure from the big bad bosses to release it. It's in the top 5 of the biggest game launch disasters.
The game now is far from disaster. It's the best it has ever been.
Besides the Battlefield games aim towards a completely different audience.
I see. And yeah i noticed there's a little recruit boom going on. Last time i did the trail there were little to no recruits running around. Just me.
I think they should close alpha testing now :v:
And yeah, it's true. But you get my point.
