That's why your not having fun delta.
Trying to lonewolf it out as a greentag will just make you hate the game.
Take hardcase up on his offer to join his squad. BKB is an excellent squad.
Okay, I found some dusty joystick and it works perfectly. But how the hell do I drive tanks? I turn on the engine, I press ] to go up a gear, and the engine stops or the tank stops. I go really slow and can't turn.
I need a manual. <_<
EDIT: I have to go sleep now (It's really late where I live) but I'm glad you guys are trying to make me enjoy the game. I appreciate that.
I will try to find a good tutorial or manual on tank controls and planes, then I'll join BKB or whatever the squad was.
And I think I'm already in a squad, how can I see if I am or not? Or is it unlike the brigade and does it change each time I log off?
Once you join a squad your in it until you decide to leave.
Press M and go to the squad tab on the far right.

Did you map to the mouse kb? If you did, turn back to default. We can get you working. Does your JS have a throttle? IF so, it must be mapped to gas/throttle under keymapper. If no, push forward to move forward on JS. I told my squaddies to look for clarck in game and give you an invite. You can stay or leave a squad..F4 is the squad channel..use it to comms with your squad, or us if you join.
Nah, I haven't had time yet. I have been working my ass off for most of the day at school.
How should I ask them? Should I just ask "Hey guys, can I join a squad?" or should I do it differently?
EDIT: squad doesn't solve the joystick and gun problems, though.
You don't need a joystick to be able to use infantry and tanks.
First trail i did sucked kinda. I almost got to rank 4 at the end of the trail (rank 4 is all i wanted from the beginning). As total noob rifle can be quite annoying. But this was my second time playing. I knew my way around. Sure died loads, but spawn killing 50 french with my trusty lmg is incredibly satisfying! Or making 15 kills with an smg from a bush.
You will get most kills with the lmg and smg depending on how you play.

Any tips for some quick rifleman points? I really want to get to at least level three so I can use the rest of the kits before my trial is over.

Always lead your targets. When they're moving shooting exactly where they are isn't going to hit them you need to lead more.
In city battles going to close quarter combat is a good way to die. Camp out in buildings and shoot EI going down a road.
The way I got to rank 3 though is with AAA. Grab a bofors and shooting down EA is good way to rank up. 30 points per plane.

Here's the details of the flight model in WW2ol.

Wow! my head hurts after reading that description of the WW2OL flight model. A bit of overkill for a computer game maybe, lol. It probably explains why most other flight sims feel so easy compared to WW2OL.
I don't think anyone can accuse the Rats of not making the flight model as realistic as possible after reading that...especially anyone who has not flown a real WW2 plane.

I have heard that Oleg uses data tables.
Can any one give me the keymap they use for vehicles?

Do you want to use the mouse, KB or a joystick. Look for a sticky with Sgtspoon's keymapper for mouse/kb in the windows help forum.

I use a PS2 controller that works on the pc.
Also, I figured out how to drive tanks, but I just can't turn with them. Do i need to be in position 2 or something?

Hold the fire button to see where the bullet impacts, or just look away while reloading. Try finding your range using your map and looking for bullet impacts on the ground (sand puff).
I don't recommend leading at all. Try to look for infantry who is not walking or wait till they stop. Even if they see you they can't shoot without stopping and taking aim and hold breath.
You can get most kills in large cities. Big open spaces and the brown rubble are perfect for rifle combat. It's possible to kill 5 guys without them seeing you just by laying on the brown rubble. Just don't show your silhouette. It's better to lay down on the side where the enemy is than being right on the tip.

Check your kemapping for Tanks..Brakes and Clutches..make sure both are mapped to the same keys..left brake clutch..right brake clutch to left and right buttons on the gamepad. If it were a JS..left and right JS movements would steer. Must be in the driver pos..1
Also, how do I play offline?
I signed up for a free trial :D
Though i had a very fucking hard time getting a valid gamername or whatever. It kept rejecting all my names D:

Yeah. They're in certain Divisions. French is like the D' le Air or something and the british para divisions aren't too hard to find.
What happened to that dev?
Yeah. They're in certain Divisions. French is like the D' le Air or something and the british para divisions aren't too hard to find.
Or fallschirm jagers for axis.

He's very busy.

Here's a page created by the guy who made the flightmodel of the game

Cool. are you guys axis or British?
On a side note, updating my Nvidia got rid of the gun disappearing bug and I expect to get an awesome joystick later this week.
Clarck will be my "training" character, and I'll make a new character once my first trial runs out. A character that I'll most likely stick to.
I think most play allied. But i think axis is more fun to play.

I play mostly axis but my squad went allied this campaign.
Finally reached level three. Playing as an AA gun is pretty fun actually, especially with the large points bonus when you're successful.
Lol i only made like 4 AAA kills in 4 weeks (2 trails). There's no good tutorial on how to use AAA properly. Kinda used to battlefield leading.
