Damn, got into an awesome dogfight today. Me and my wingman grabbed 109F-4's and I engaged a spit (was a Vb I think) and a p38, they were at about 2k and I was at about 1k so they had an alt advantage. I squawked at my wingman to come save my ass but he was a good 10k away so it turned into me dodging the lasers of the p38 and the cannonso the spit. My wingman finally arrived (I fucking sighed a great sigh of relief) and by now the fight was simply who could hold their E and not fall into the sea because we were so damn low. My wingman jumped on the tail of the spit and left me to deal with the lone P38 who I just continued to make overshoot my ass and double back whilst my wingman made short work of the spit causing the spits pilot to get shot to crap and the uncontrolled plane to fly clean into the sea and sink. Now about 10 minutes into this really fucking intense dogfight it was obvious this was probably the only time I've enjoyed playing the game in a while, I was shaking and my fucking palms were sweaty. Anyway, I had max flaps out whilst my wingman clutched to what little energy he had he just kept on high yo-yo'ing the P38 whilst the p38 continued to try and draw guns on my ass when the P38 finally made his final mistake. He pulled up to try and yo-yo me and arc over infront of me so I pulled up my nose with what little energy I had left and fired 3 bursts of cannons and MG's. I saw 3 cannons hit and then the fucker went deadstick and hit the water and exploded. What's hilarious is during this entire dogfight where they could have easily gunned me down, the fuckers didn't even manage to land 1 damn round on me, haha. [b]FUCKING INTENSE[/B]

Everytime i try the airforce i just get gunned down before killing anything.. Well, i did make one kill somehow, but all the other times i just stalled or had a fighter on my ass. So it's kinda stalling or getting shot. Never something proper :( Tiger is great fun tho. Those shermans are overpowered though. Should be one shot kill on frontal armour..

I just raped a ju-87 so bad. I came in behind him in a spit 9 and shredded him completely, leaving only small fragments of metal.

Very fun to fight battles on the ground, but i also heard about great air battles. The rollback to weaker vehicles is also appreciated by me as there are no more freaking sherman raids and also more infantry involvement, rather than just tank battles.

I've outturned spitfires in the 110 before. Trick is to not get in a long drawn out stall turn and don't do it unless you [b]know[/b] you're going to kill the guy.

So, hows stuff on the allied side? Seems like there are not many big offences on neither side. Well, there are rather big ones, but those are just meat grinders.

The game is made that way so it's not so much of a "Red vs Blue" type gameplay where everything is even. That's just boring and repetitive. Medium tanks irl are now heavy tanks for allies. Apparently to balance both sides. That while they never balance British rifle grenades. But that's not what i meant.. I meant campaign wise.

I do. With the slow ass stuka (seriously is it supposed to be that slow?)

Stuka is a heavy lifter. Plus it can use speed to bomb as you need a low speed for bombing, hence the dive brake. Who am i to say anything about the airforce though, i can't fly for shit. I prefer tanking.

you're not supposed to be able to shoot stuka's though. They are bombers, so they should avoid fighters at all cost. However, it still is somewhat agile and can defend itself, so it's more likely to see a stuka in a contested area than a large bomber. Getting many AAA kills lately. Seems like the allies are getting reckless. Flying low, multiple passes, over army bases. And got my first ever sapper kill (with satchel). Needed to clear a char. Damn driving fortresses.
