That's the reason I asked, it only says all premium accounts. Does that mean old trial members as well? Oh well, gonna download and try anyway.
Downloading it again to give it another try seeing as there's the free time added. One thing that made me not want to play was the scale, sometimes it just seemed to sparse, trying to find some action, all I did was really take control of some AA and shoot at planes. Was about 5 months ago, hope it's picked up.
Game is still the same. You have to know where to go to find the action. Look for towns that have flashing boxes around the names. If there is a flashing box and the towns name is orangey yellow then that means the enemy has captured a point there. If you spawn there you are guaranteed to either get killed or kill someone at the very least.
I have only now really started to enjoy this game, the scale of it is truly astounding. I went from running around as a rifleman taking over a small outpost that the Germans had set up near a French town, got 2 kills by sneaking in the bushes (after walking a few miles from our spawn to the destination, following the sound of the gunshots and the tracers in the night), finally arriving just before dawn and popping a few shots off. Then I started my way in the Air Force, picked the Hurricane 1a, and off I went to find some nearby battle over a currently French occupied town being besieged. Getting used to the controls with the keyboard, then I had a BF109 on my tail shooting off rounds, hearing the shots whiz by and seeing tracers encompass my view, I purposely stall and dive. As I see him roar overhead, I put my engine to maximum RPM and boost up behind him, he's slowly getting out of my view. So I let a few bursts of my MG go, hoping for a lucky hit, and I got it! Not a kill but simply damaging his engine and wing, from long range with a keyboard I thought it was quite lucky. Eventually ran out of ammo and made my first landing to restock. Pure sense of accomplishment was great, I urge you all to try it for more than an hour, and find a nice squad to play with.
All you have to do is check the chat for high command orders and you will find action.

We can play together and do stuff.
Apparently premium users means a paying user, no free gametime for old trial users.
Apparently premium users means a paying user, no free gametime for old trial users.
Yeah i don't understand their strategy on this. I got a couple offers by mail before saying it was free to play if you come back.
Me neither. Why do they spam me about trying it again and mention nowhere that it doesn't actually involve me.
Bad marketing it seems.
Me neither. Why do they spam me about trying it again and mention nowhere that it doesn't actually involve me.
Post your email and I can give you a 2 month free trial.
I'll give this a whirl. Name in-game will be Superdishy. Edit: What side is everyone on?
Post your email and I can give you a 2 month free trial.
What is that all about?
What is that all about?
Holiday Promotion.
Apparently premium users means a paying user, no free gametime for old trial users.
Looking at the free trial offer, you need to set up a completely new account, do not try to use your old account.
I'll give this a whirl. Name in-game will be Superdishy. Edit: What side is everyone on?
I play whatever side I feel like playing but I generally play Axis.
I couldn't find out what to do. Looks like I need to get a joystick :argh:
I couldn't find out what to do. Looks like I need to get a joystick :argh:
Press M and go to the keymapper, while you are in game, and at the bottom right corner you should see a tab. From there you should be able to switch the keymap from joystick to keyboard.
Yay, got it working. Thanks to God of Ashes for the 2 months pass! I even got one German killed during the 2 hours of gameplay. :v:

Thanks GoA for trial :v:. I will be manning an AA gun to make some flying cheese :D
Uhh... I don't know how to even connect the servers... I tried running the WW2.exe, it doesn't go online and only thing I can play is some practice island.

We should all get together and destroy something! Edit: Also, can I get a 2 month pass? :D
Where is the button to change keymaps? Or i have to reasign it myself?
How do you find some smaller squads than the ones in the MOTD thingy?
How do you find some smaller squads than the ones in the MOTD thingy?
You can check the recruitment forum on the forum boards: http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20 Or just shout out on the help channel that your lookin for a squad. Edit:
Where is the button to change keymaps? Okay, someone can hint me about ground combat? I hate the "Hey, lets shoot bushes and pretend we see enemy" part. I am blown up by some invisible tank after looking for enemy.
Well at least you have a chance of seeing a big tank, snipers are bloody annoying. I got killed 4 times in the same spot presumeably by the same guy and I was in a town.
Uhh... I don't know how to even connect the servers... I tried running the WW2.exe, it doesn't go online and only thing I can play is some practice island.
WW2.exe takes you to offline practice. Click WW2_x86 or WW2_sse2 to get online.
Fucksakes I'm having a shitty day. Been flying for ages with my wingmen and I keep getting bounce and not getting any kills.
