Hmm don't think i can cause his banned.
I'm switching to allies for the better planes. I just can't do much with axis planes. And the bomber the allies have has 3 spots so me and my 2 friends can sit along as well.

Gringamos, tell me when you can teach me flying with mouse/keyboard. I want to start my airforce duty :ahaw:
Lol no kills so far.
I spent 50 minutes in a gunboat trying to reach the fight, got bored and quit.
Then tried infantry, spent 30 minutes running with another guy. Watched a cool little tank fight for a few minutes only to get sniped.
So far I'm not really impressed.
Why not just get the 2 week one off the site like I did? That way if you don't like it you don't waste a two month for someone who would.

If you're allied go paratrooper, they're doing a lot of drops and you get right into the action a lot sooner than infantry, or go defense with Axis.
yeah if you dogfight against planes with a braindead pilot
Then don't dogfight. If you're flying axis then by now you've probably realised you can't turn and burn with every enemy you see. Come in high and bounce the fuckers to shit.

Main thing that got me into the game was the paradrops. Their quite fun.

You can only share with 1 other person. They originally coded it so you could share with like 5 people but the shitty internet of 2001 and their crap netcode limited them to barely being able to allow you to share with 1 other person.

I don't know, I jumped in the game and got my first kill in 20 minutes. Just spawn and protect a town.
I then paratrooped and killed about 2 Nazi LMG's, and a few others later on.
It's all about knowing where the action is.
Like when in the chat people are saying "Massive Paratroop at coordinates x.x.x.x" You should go there
Or "Haam is under attack, we need more soldiers there to defend"
Don't just spawn in a safe place and try to get over to the enemy alone, it doesn't work that way.
I was working with a squad on the ground in a combat zone.
It's a rather stale game so far. I can imagine some things to be fun like paradropping but I don't see that keeping me interested in it forever.

I sent one to him about 30 minutes ago. I guess I should have said so.
I used to play this game alot. Even got high enough rank for sniper.
But what bugged me with the game, was that when i shot an enemy, he would almost always somehow manage to shoot me back. Even if i shot him in his head, it would take 4 seconds before he'd die, and that's all he needed to shoot me. Also the running animations on the soldiers are the absolute worst i have ever seen.
You end up running for 50 minutes, and get shot. So if you want to rank up, just camp towns that are getting contested. Also, the game laggs when there's more than 20 people on a paradrop plane.
So any word on what team or squad to play?
yeah, which team/squad?
FP could make it's own squad. We should make then make big ass armor columns.
Hehe, I did that a week ago. It didn't turn out very well. We were going together as about 7 Panzer IV's, 3 Stug IIIb's and some other tank. We drove for about 30 minutes, when we were ambushed south of the town we were to attack, and got flanked from both sides. It caused a quite amount of panic, when we started getting shot at from all sides through the bushes. When our leader got shelled we didn't know what to do, but I somehow managed to escape in my smoking tank, after I had been hit a shitload of times. The only crewmember I had left that was alive, was my driver, so I went missing in action, because I didn't want to drive home in the smoking wreck. I only killed a Panhard...

Yeah, I find flying very hard to do, and I don't like dogfights, so I only fly Stuka. I spend the most of my time as infantry or as an anti-tank gun, but that's mainly because I want to get to level 5 to get sniper. I always play as Axis, and so should Facepunch, if we decide to make a squad.
So any word on what team or squad to play?
Depends on the side your playing. For allies I would have to say the 23rd armoured. They're a fun bunch of guys.
Go allies, they really need the support. And I agree on the FP squad, how do you make them?
What we really need is more axis pilots.
Also, to all you guys who can't wait to get level 5 so you can be a sniper, you're going to be let down.
Using your sight is harder than most games where you just point and click and bullet drop is a matter of inches. Setting your sight wrong can mean a hit or miss of 10 meters. What you really want to look foreward to is level 6 which is the level you get binoculars at.
I think we all need to pick a side first and then make a squad.
It looks ok, but it seems like a really dragged out sort of combat.
Dragged out like real life. It's not like in real life we all appear in a chosen area then run around mindlessly shooting at each other and then after one side wins we all repeat the process.
If you take a tank and run into a town, you will die and you will be laughed at.
If you take a tank and think about the surrounding terrain of a town and setup on a hill with a good view over the enemy army base you can effectively hault their forces from doing anything usefull.

I can sometime tonight, what's your in-game name?
I'm getting a lot more kills then I use to, just have to find a place that needs defense.
I'm getting a lot more kills then I use to, just have to find a place that needs defense.
One word, barcap. Fly to the direct lane between the enemy airfield and the attack order and look for enemy aircraft going to target.
You don't get credit for all the kills if you shoot down a c47 full of paras do you?
Hmm having a slight problem, game doesn't seem to work loaded first time changed a few settings and now game crashes as soon as loads everything in startup.
I've tried reinstalling so settings go back to default but doesn't seem to do so, any ideas.
Still crashing to desktop. :(
Allies still have Attigny?
Allies still have Attigny?
No idea but last night was intense as fuck in Attigny, I got a shit ton of kills just because there were so many frenchies trying to get in.
