I play with my electronics teacher, his wife plays as well. I usually rock a black deck with . I have 9ish other decks at the moment as well.
i play yugioh
I have a few decks lying around. LackeyCCG also works for playing online. I suppose I should go to FNM again sometime.
Hello I'm Emrakul and I ruin games
[img_thumb]http://www.gatheringmagic.com/images/Cards/OblivionRing.jpg[/img_thumb] Cake.
Emrakul has protection from colored spells, though. However, I find Spawnsire of Ulamog to be more annoying. Pay 20 mana and you can dump all Eldrazis you own onto the battlefield.
Man, fuck those cards. A friend of mine had all of them out at once. Ulamog can suck my balls.
Emrakul has protection from colored spells, though. However, I find Spawnsire of Ulamog to be more annoying. Emrakul doesnt have protection from coloured permanents. A vampire nighthawk could block and kill it.
With all of the uncounterable cards that have been entering the game, blue has been getting nerfed hard. Scars of Mirrodin blue is laughable at best, due to proliferate being shit. Been an on and off player for 8 years or so. First booster box I ever bought was M11. I build great two-headed decks which shit all over the other team's efforts, but my one-on-one stuff needs work.

[editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] Memnarch is a great card for an artifact deck.
Milling decks are the best decks. They never win but they're oh so much fun. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] Also, representing for ma blue niggas

The only problem with that is it runs on one card. I never really liked combo decks because if you don't get the card you need near the start, you will lose 99% of the time. I like control and weenie creature decks. Black and blue have my heart.
I like the artwork on the cards, never really played any cards games like that though.
I like the artwork on the cards, never really played any cards games like that though.
The artwork in Magic the Gathering is just brilliant. Definitely one of the big reasons I think it's the best trading card game. Hell, even if I opened my cards in 30 years and didn't know how to play anymore, I would still like them for the pictures. My avatar is Goblin Piledriver :3 (Which is an amazing card.)
Some of my coworkers and I play Magic one night every week or so. Loads of fun, and we're constantly getting more people involved, to the point where we had to move the meetings to a larger house.

I miss it. The only Magic I have anymore is the Duel of the Planeswalker game.

I also have damping matrix to protect norin.
hi. also blue is for faggots.
Green.
[img_thumb]http://magiccards.info/scans/en/lw/240.jpg[/img_thumb] hi. also blue is for faggots.
A good blue deck will usually destroy a good green deck. But green is also my least favorite color, so I am a bit biased. Black will always have my heart. What other color has a card that says "You win the game" on it?

Although, one of the best ways to counter it is prevent it from getting out on to the field in the first place. I was playing today, and my opponent had about 18 Eldrazi Spawns in play as well as Spawnsire of Ulamog (he forgot all of other Eldrazis though). Get blocked intentionally by a 6/5 with reach, all of his eldrazi spawns die.
I've got a really nice Blue/Black deck based on Dimir Inrigues. Who cares about taking down enemy HP? I'm just dumping his whole deck into graveyard :smug:
Platinum Juggernaut(?) is more useful sometimes.
Platinum Juggernaut(?) is more useful sometimes.
Platinum Emperion. And I can see how that is pretty useful, but you will still lose the game if hit by Phage the Untouchable, or if you're playing against a mill deck. [editline]4th January 2011[/editline] I also should have specified with my winning the game comment. I meant in a way that was so simple. You don't need to build a deck around Phage, but with the other cards that say "You win the game" you almost have to be going for a certain build or strategy to be able to use it.
A friend of mine actually just got me to start playing Magic recently. Right now I just have a blue/white intro deck but I'm looking to make a custom one.

But I think Phage the Untouchable is actually a balanced card. One that you don't have to build a deck around either.
What colours are you guys playing for your main deck? I'm playing pure red.
