I feel genuine sympathy for players I play against in 2v2 when my partner is a brit (I usually play American) and we totally destroy them because of something annoying that brits do like their inf blobs. I remember this one game a brit player told me to get my riflemen ready to become nothing more than fodder to feed his med station to get back rifle sections. We won naturally but I felt bad, to a degree for the enemy that had to deal with it. But at the same time, it's the only way brits can really play. The higher up the ladder you go, the more obvious their weaknesses become. They can get fucked up pretty bad because they're pretty fragile, tactically speaking. Hell, they got nerfed to hell and back anyway. Nothing makes me rage more than the goddamn medic bunkers for the Wehrmacht though. That's the bane of any allied player's rise up the leader boards. You literally lose the game if you can't take that bunker out and it gets worse in a 2v2 and the higher the rank, the smarter they get with the bunker. PE/Wehr blobs can be pretty unstoppable.

The blobs are only half the problem, it's the sim city players who team up with their american friend and just sit back when I have to micro to hell just to destroy their emplacements, AND deal with the us player spamming rangers/snipers.

While I disagree that this is the best game ever, I do find it quite annoying that you can't provide roadkill with jeeps. It's only natural, with their speed and all that.

I played a game with an AI on my team, I was Wehrmacht and it was PE. One of my friends was on the other team as America, his AI teammate was Brits. It did absolutely nothing except build dingoes. Barely any infantry, no other trucks... just dingoes. Kind of hard to deal with when you're down on resources and they insta-flank everything. And take panzershrecks to the front without a problem. Blitz AI loves to build jeeps/dingoes.

The last time I played the AI fielded more StuGs than their population cap could actually support. Oh AI and your cheating. They would also keep trying to repair a destroyed bridge that was far out of the way of anything, I just left a sniper sitting there to pick off the pioneer and engineer who tried to repair it.

I used to have so many mods for this game on my retail copy. Retail broke. Bought it on Steam. How the fuck do I install mods on the Steam version?

If the mod needs to be manually installed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes Remove the (x86) if you have a 32-bit OS. Other than that most mods that have installers will automatically find the steam install.
