I discovered Minecraft back when there was still a battle over it and infiniminer. And TBH I think I deserve something for that. Nothing big. But SOMETHING.

When i played minecraft classic to see what it was like, i couldn't really play for longer than 5-10 minutes. Yet i keep finding myself watching videos of it and coming to this thread. Do you suppose the real game will have a different effect?

I'm trying to install Better light and the minimap, it's not working I have the output set as .minecraft

Is it just me, or do mobs spawn under different restrictions? Remember the old spawning system, and then Notch 'updated' it and it was insanely hard to stay alive, so he removed it? Well, did he properly remove it? Mobs have spawned in my decently-lit mines. And I was thinking about lining them with wood, and until I blocked one off, I thought all my mine corridors were safe.
Then a creeper spawned. Behind the dangerously blocked corridor.
Has the mob spawn code been changed a bit, or what? They spawn very close to me and torches. Jesus, fuck, the corridor was lit up with 10 torches along 20 blocks. (1 torch every 2 blocks)

Well, I just installed the Biome Terrain mod and tweaked it to create an interesting forest level, but does anyone know if it is compatible with the betterlight and minimap mod made by MR.M?
Also anyone know any good Biome-mod servers?
I really want to play with other people because I always get bored of singleplayer really quick.

Damn, the 2d grass mod doesn't work with Betterlight/AO. At least not for me.
I'm gonna make the death star, find a way to fly it, and destroy everything.

When i look at other peoples Carto's to mine there maps always seem bigger why is this?
