Delete level.dat, rename level.dat_old to level.dat.

Also, you shouldn't search for diamonds at bedrock level. Go up 10 or so blocks, so that you're digging just above lava level. That way you don't dig into a lava pool.
I bought this piece of shit since the asshole who made it doesn't guarantee free updates for beta people. :colbert:
