So if Doomish is at school, why shouldn't I just make the thread? Hours of waiting for him to get home, instead of hours spent discussing the game.

If you let Doomish make the next one, I am sure everyone supports your claim to V51. That way we sidestep a lot of unneeded drama.

I remember it was you, pedroion and maybe one or two more who said they wanted someone new to make it. This was after Doomish already called it, and he did so several times. And there are 10+ people who want to let Doomish have it.

Why not, whilst we wait on Doomish to make the thread, we make a TEMPORARY THREAD until Doomish is available to make the proper one?. If it stops all you guys bitching about it, then I would say it's a good idea.

A temporary thread is a better idea, in my opinion. Doomish has pretty much begged to have a thread for quite a while (from what i can remember anyway)-- He definitely deserves the milestone of v50. He posted about 10(?) pages back saying that he's already written the full OP. Give him a chance. AND if the need arises, why doesn't whiny bitch child Atokniro make v49.5, if it finished before Doomish gets back? It probably won't even need a proper OP (and I doubt Atokniro has actually written one). Now, no drama.

So guys a little note, if you purchase this game during beta. You're fucked.

Notch works hard on this and it's his only income of money, is it that bad that he wants to charge an extra, at most, $5 for some extra modes for beta buyers?

It's just that it's such an open line that it could be dangerous to keep in any number of hypothetical situations. Notch has even said that Beta users WILL get all updates free.
