Ugh, why is it that when I put in the address of my server, that I get "Connection refused"

I haven't played Minecraft for over a week. Burned out, and I have way to many other games to play. But I really want to finish my station. So I wanted to start it up now, it crashes while installing updates. I delete the bin folder, have it re-install everything. Works fine for five seconds, start to lag like a bitch. Game crashes. Then crashes on startup. Delete bin, start, lag, crash, start, crash, repeat. Hope the next patch fixes those issues for me. Edit: Huh, seems I am just stupid. Left a tab open in Chrome with a java game. Not wise. Give me boxes for my stupidity.

I have come across quite a couple things that are neat and entertaining, i have a feeling that this might be a long post. Some of these things may be late, i do not know, i just found them interesting/cool. Okay, first thing, a neat minecraft song with a cool music video to go along. This mod in progress makes torches emit light as you walk around with one in your hand. Here there will be one outbound cart ready, as well as the booster cart.[/media] Due to this being a singleplayer save, all my systems have one cart that goes back and forth. So if I am unlucky and die in "location Z" after going there from the station, I will be without a cart at the station since the cart will be at "location Z". I am fine with this though, as I just want something cool that works. And even though I only have two tracks going out of the station, I can add switches after that having four possible ways to go. Now I just need to mine for a month or two to get the rest of the iron I need in order to finish the station. It really sucks when minecarts suddenly disappear, since I am mining all my resources. The glitchy boosters sure suck that way, so I hope Notch adds some sort of booster block soon. Of course, part of the fun of making this station is making it work with the limitations of the things we have.

BTW, I'm running Ubuntu 10.10
