If it's like most mods, you just take whatevers inside and dump it in your minecraft.jar. There should be a readme with installation instructions, if not, check the thread.

I REALLY hope Notch fixes leaves soon. It's a huge pain to get wood, you have to destroy every single leaf by hand in order to replant so you can have wood nearby. Otherwise you have to travel far away and risk getting lost. It's not that bad for normal trees, but huge trees take ~10 minutes to clear.
