When do you think it is okay to hack? I think it is acceptable when making long tracks or railway systems. It's crazy how much iron you need to make those. The only things I hack in are the rails and carts, it's not like I'm going to get some diamond or something. All the work is done by hand as well, not MCEdit.

[b]I want to have fun.[/b] If I am having fun, there is no problem with it. I find fun in working hard to make things, but the railway system would be ludicrous to make without hacking the materials in. I did take the hard time and effort to plan the paths of the tracks, laying the tracks, ascending mountains, making bridges with unhacked materials, and warding off monsters. I'm not trying to say it was made legitimately in any regard, but it does take a lot of work, and this was just to show you hacking isn't all that bad. In no way am I saying that modding the game so you have every material and invincible armor and tools is good. I hate that as much as you.

So, um, am I the only one around here who still plays Minecraft completely vanilla? Aside from skins, I don't use any texture packs or mods. I do have some, but I prefer vanilla above all. I've had the game for three months now.

The minecart transport uses other minecarts for boosters, looping back at both of the houses and going back and forth forever. The minecart collider is a bunch of minecarts that go in a circle, propelling each other. It's also a good way to catch mobs. :v:
