Hm! In my testing, I have created an "infinite momentum accelerator". A switch determines if the loop is closed or open. When more than three carts are placed on the loop, it accelerates rapidly. Figure 2: When the loop is opened, the minecarts continue indefinably, until they are stopped by a nearby ridge. Usually, minecarts stop after a short time, even after being boosted by a booster. When the minecarts join together in the infinite momentum accelerator, or IMA, and released, they seem to have infanate momentum, going long distances unless stopped. This leaves us with a few questions. What causes this? Are the particles joining together, and when joined, share momentum? Could this be used as a low cost transportation device across plains, without the need of tracks? Can these be ridden? Could this be unstable and cause a cascade?

[img]http://gyazo.com/860f5bcec1e0c76148a3c4a54f524829.png[/img] After a one block (1b) fall, the cart splayed its contents among the ground. If this would be used for transportation, it could not fall 1b or more or it would be destroyed.

I have recently discovered that the IMA only works once, the next tests always send the cart into random directions. Could it be possibly used accurately once? My IMA also has a missile style launch, it goes up vertically and launches from a cliff, landing in deep waters. I plan to jump into one and see where it goes. I also learned that passenger-less carts fly further. Could it be from friction or weight?

Amazon bruh. Going to try to scavenge what I can from the corrupted platters and get them replaced.

So I've been taking a break from the game and I still don't fell like playing it. What else could get me back into minecraft again? Any fun mods?
