I don't get it, why notch won't do biomes much, much bigger, like in real life. Huge deserts, huge forests, huge flat areas. World size is 8 times bigger than earth and biomes are small like you are in some game with 10 square miles map. Horns? what did I miss?

Me and my friends bought the game recently and have had a lot of trouble setting up a server of our own. Are there any friendly dedicated servers that we could join? The others are not fp members but they are very respectful and kind. Please give advice on a good server, or if you'd like us to join yours.
