You may not understand that while you've seen dozens of dungeons over the time you've owned the game, player X or person Y may not have, and it's no reason to get upset if they get freaked out because dungeons are scary as shit anyway.

Does mobs spawn in total darkness? because i have this mobspawner that works in kinda the same way as the huge mobtrap video posted not long ago, but no mobs are spawning and i have the difficulty on hard...

I posted my last comment before I noticed he said he was new. I thought he wasn't new and was flipping shit over a natural occurrence. Yes, stupid of me to assume that so let's all just forget about it and be friends again.

Make sure there's plenty of vertical room, though.

[editline]9th December 2010[/editline] and what snuffy said. You need at least a 3 block vertical height for anything to spawn, along with flat ground.

I'm building a massive enclosed railway for shortened trips to my house. However, I keep forgetting that I place blocks on the top half of the 2-block high roof, and end up hurting myself when i use my minecart.
