Posting from my school laptop. I am forced to use a portableapps java to even play minecraft, but I can't update due to the school's network having blocks on it. I have to switch off my WLAN switch every time I play. :saddowns: Also we all get free dell laptops suck it. They can't stand up to any abuse, at all. We've had three cracked screens already, and one of those was from a kid who treats anything electronic as if it were being shot at. You can access it by clicking the "Open Folder" button in the "Texture packs" window on the minecraft main menu. It has to be a zip, and it can't be inside another folder in the zip.

i was going to make a new personal skin, but jar files don't work on my computer anymore, they just open a command prompt for a split second and close what is going on

Notch could make biome changing smoother (for desert and snow only) by makind the amount of snow or sand blocks get denser when you're nearing one of those biomes, would look nice i geuss. If i install the HD patch, can i still use non-HD texture packs like Painterly?
