I remember the first time I went into the nether. I recorded it, and I had no idea what to expect. :v:

I don't understand how you guys are able to make huge villages there without getting sick of dying/getting your stuff blown up (to those who don't play on peaceful)
So I've been playing Minecraft for a little while now, quite enjoying it, but I saw some videos/screenshots of a really nice texture pack and I can't find it.
It's kinda fantasy themed, a bit darker than the original textures.
I'd be very grateful if someone could give me a link plus instructions how to install it, because I've heard it's a bitch.

Play singleplayer for a few days so you can figure out how to do stuff and how to survive, then move on to multiplayer. There's some really good RP servers that you should check out

I tried installing that but it won't let me drag and drop the content into minecraft.jar.

Use 7zip to open the .jar then drag and drop the files into it.

So my brother and I finally got a working dedicated minecraft server, he's incredibly skeptical about allowing random facepunchers on and wants to make a serious whitelist. Hopefully I can convince him to get a bunch of you on the server. :buddy:

Alright, I am making a HUGE tower, to the top of the sky, and I am wondering if I close it all up (made of smoothstone) if I close it up and have no light in it, will mobs spawn? I am trying out a mob trap, and I dont want to spend four hours making it if it isnt going to work.. anyone know if it will?
Is Dokus pack only in 32*32?
I only use 16*16
