Better Light makes my game not even start. It just black screens.
I guess you can't have mob mods/HD texture fix with it. :saddowns:
Cartographer doesn't work for me. It just hangs up at 99% and doesn't do anything.

You are using the proper installer for BetterLight right? The .jar file which looks like the HD Texture Patcher by xau?

Yes I'm using the patcher. However when I try to patch it goes to like ~6% then gives me an error, and then my minecraft.jar is corrupted.

You sure you set the Output to exactly the same as the input?

And you're sure Minecraft.exe and javaw.exe aren't running during the patching process? Use Task Manager --> Processes tab to find out if they are or not.

I guess one of my mods is making it not possible or something.
Oh and the backup the patcher makes also becomes corrupted. Damn.

Hmmm, well backup all your mods, delete the whole .minecraft folder, then redownload it.
First of all, install BetterLight using the patcher, then install any texture packs, then install any other mods, like minimap or whatever. In that order, it works for me.
