Damn, I want this on the PC so bad... Actually, i'll have to fix up my pc so I can run it, I do have it on 360 but I can't be assed to buy Live subscriptions every year. Actually, fuck that, I have GGPO.
MAN, Vega on your avatar IS the way real Vega should look like.
This game is ruined by the fact that people who play online spam the same attack until they win instead of trying.

If you die to spamming you're doing it wrong.

What are the controls like on the PC?
Most people say it's better to use a gamepad, if i had it on PC i would agree.
A keyboard definitely beats a 360 controller. But maybe a game pad is better. But i can't find out so whatever. The game is pretty awesome. For people in UK. You can get it of Play.com for £17.99 or something instead of the £10 more on steam. Save money!
Keyboard isn't bad but I'd disagree to say it's better than a 360 controller.
Don't use a 360 controller. Use a fightpad or any other controller that has 6 face buttons on the right side. 4 isn't enough.
It works just fine as you can use the triggers and top buttons for heavy punch/kick and LK+MK+HK/LP+MP+HP.

Each to their own I guess.
MAN, Vega on your avatar IS the way real Vega should look like.
Heh, I don't mind the way Vega looks in SFIV, 'cept they made his hair brown, it's supposed to be blonde.
Can you play 1v1 with one keyboard? (both humans)
Can you play 1v1 with one keyboard? (both humans)
Doubtful
Anyone know why the benchmark identifies my e7400 as a pentium III xeon? :v: [editline]03:24PM[/editline]
Can you play 1v1 with one keyboard? (both humans)
Holding in multiple keys on most keyboards conflicts. So I highly doubt that works [editline]04:28PM[/editline] Wow this game is fucking hard :'/ I get owned on easiest...

Hey guys. The game's 50% off this weekend. You should really buy this game now.
i will. i have a question. I have a SNES usb controller, does it have enough button so i can play with it? (A,B,X,Y,R,L,select)
i will. i have a question. I have a SNES usb controller, does it have enough button so i can play with it? (A,B,X,Y,R,L,select)
Yes but it would be really hard. It's optimal to have 8 buttons. 6 for the light, medium and heavy kicks and the last two for your EX and Ultra buttons. But you can do the same thing by pressing all the punch and kick buttons at the same time, but that would be hard on the Snes controller. I wouldn't use it.
ok then. is playing with keyboard's not that bad?
It's actually something I could get used to if I tried. I played it with a keyboard once to see how I liked it and it was certainly usable. Just not my preference. But you probably want to make sure you bind your keys in places where all your buttons will work if you're holding down any of the others. Like if you held 'down' and 'right' to crouch forward, your 'kick' button might not work on your keyboard. Gamepads don't have that problem though.
where can i buy a good peripheral for playing SF4. Hope it's cheap.
If you want the branded SF4 fightsticks they'd go for like 60 bucks or something. That's too much so I was planning on getting one of these It's a PS3 arcade stick that should work for PC since it's USB. And it's only 20 bucks so it sounds like a great deal. If you just want a gamepad find any controller that has 6 face buttons.
sorry, wont spend 60$ for a peripheral that i will use on a single game. i probably wont buy it then
sorry, wont spend 60$ for a peripheral that i will use on a single game. i probably wont buy it then
That's why I recommended the 20 dollar stick.
