If you manage to stun him and keep him like that at least until he has to flee, then you will only have to deal with some weak illusions he leaves behind. Otherwise, he can just attack someone and send created swarm to other targets. To de-swarm area you can use AoE and Cleave (400% damage taken,remember ?), but if it's late game and he has farm then it's nigh impossible to stop them from coming if he has something to attack. Especially if it's forest. I think Slardar works great against him with Amp Damage (marked & not invisible) and stun. He seems to be a great hard carry, but he also seems to have a couple of critical weaknesses : - BKB = you are easily spotted among your illusions - All you have for chase is slow on Lance, your army ain't scary if it can't reach the target and your base MS is low (290). - good micro is required - current big AoE teamfights (Sand King, Enigma, Tide) meta seems to hurt your game - chance based entirely (sometimes you create army within moments of engaging single enemy, sometimes you will have max triplets during a long gank)
I dont like the new Brewmaster
I really hope valve reconsiders the remake of brewmaster..or at least hold off on it and tweak the colors a bit more before doing anything too hasty. I LOVED the old version and thought he looked fucking awesome but everyone complained of him looking like a rat but I couldn't see it. He looked cool and I feel like the recolor is just bad overall.

If it's just some new cosmetic mask for Juggernaut, or new Hex-animal for Lion, or stuff like that, then I'm fine with them.
Look through Cyborgmatt's blog - there are various armour pieces for characters, weapons with counters, hex animals, couriers, announcers and possibly skins (Tidehunter Orca).

New pieces of clothing, taunts, custom couriers, just extra stuff that doesn't affect gameplay. I think the only gameplay-affecting item is that one that removes you from low priority matchmaking.
I remember them saying they won't be making anything that affects gameplay so only cosmetic items (like skins from league)

I just sent my illusions forward and I leave to farm in their jungle, see my illusions just copying each other and keep pushing. (also giving me creep kills with radiance) Can't wait until he comes out in the real client, just have to watch out for aoe and cleave. But against the bots it went pretty good, even if they have four heroes capable of aoe.
That's probably because of the bug where he duplicates on buildings.

Shame if it's a bug. But I must say that I like how unkillable he feels.

Hell, even old trick of just stopping and making people THINK you casted the Dopplewalk is probably still doable. It seems to have quite good AI, but from what I've noticed it does stop. High level dopplewalk = long duration (8 seconds) = if Illusion stopped, PL is long gone. Mindgames mate, if PL is long gone and he is not around, then that thing that stopped is not Illusion, but him. When they notice, you pop Dopplewalk and go away unharmed while they stun Illusion.

so, is echo slam working on illusions or just phantom illusions or what
are dopplewalk illusions supposed to have higher stats and HP?

The model looks ok and the three spirits look really good. Not a fan of the icon though.
