The trick to ganking with Sven is to charge in with your R/E, THEN stun.
If you initiate with your stun, it's just costing you hits that you could land if you start with a few whacks.
I've been trying to play Kunkka and been fairly successful at him, but what is the best thing to build?
I've tried assault Cuirass, Battle-fury, Heart, everything but Daedalus.
I guess most effective way to play him is too stack on the damage, because tidebringer only procs every so often so Attack Speed is kinda a waste.

My old Sven video when I farmed up my items, no one could harm me after I had Armlet and Black King Bar.
I wish sniper had a Ahgynim's boost that gave him a little more damage and global range on assassinate.

Maaaybe, but that's a long shot. Maybe they could add effect like (flame suit on) Graves from League has ? His ultimate ability is skill shot that after hitting initial target does damage to all targets behind the initial target in a cone. Simple, Sniper's ultimate would work great in teamfights with Agha.
I got the idea from Sniper's projective being so "explosive".
Making his ultimate a skill shot would ruin it for me.

Oh god. Had an early abandon on my team, they had a brbrbrbr huehuehue so I thought: "Nah I'm not disconnecting, I'm seeing this through." I managed to hold 1v5 as Witch Doctor and hold the match out for 24mins :v:

Just had a 4v5 and won. I was playing as Dazzle and kept everyone alive in every team fight, team was thanking me all game and called me MVP by the end. :D
Fuck carrying, I'll support thank you very much.
Is anyone else finding items? Last game when it ended it said I found an unknown item.

Well thats because you where left to farm solo and the enemy team probably sucked(which shows why you were left to farm solo). But if you put Sven vs a Full farmed Anti-mage or a fully farmed Void he will lose and will be outcarried. And if the enemy team is worth a damn Sven will be ganked so he doesnt reach his potencial(Which is harder to do against a carry with a good escape mechanism which Sven lacks). Also he will be counter-picked(Beastmaster shits on his BKB, his boar makes his warcry be worthless)(Faceless void with backtrack and butterfly makes Svens life a living hell unless he goes for MKB and that slows his core items which are also cheaper for a Void).
I'm not saying hes a bad carry, he IS a hard carry, but he depends on a good team(or a really shitty enemy team). You can carry or help more with other carries than on him.
Again, I say, its doable and its fun when you pull it off, but hes easily countered if the enemy knows his shit.

As Support heroes and Dazzle especially don't worry about your overall stats, just look at each death and think if it was justified or not.
For instance I had a game as Dazzle where I saved a really-low-hp Viper by running across the map and spamming him with heals and shallow grave until he managed to escape, but I then got killed because I hadn't gotten any escape items yet. Better you than a carry.
Now that I think about it, thats a bit too much of "copypasting".
Aghanim on Sniper. It should be something that makes his ultimate more effective and possibly fun, but not 100% essential, as he is a carry (you know, like Huskar, Viper, Juggernaut Aghanims, they can get them, but they can just as well skip them and go for right-click power).
His ultimate at level 3 has 2500 range, 10 seconds cooldown, 375 mana cost and damage of 655.
Now, first thing, with damage ultimate nice thing is to increase it. After 25% decrease, 655 is 491,25. Let's make that a bit more sexy. What should be "basic death hp" ? Basic, because it's only based off basic 25% magic resistance.
491 is quite high, but how about 600 ? Seems cool, right ? But I dare to say, too nice. It's pretty much half HP for some heroes mid-game. 580 ? Doesn't seems so bad now, does ? It's almost the same, but it's old trick. 100 $ too high ? Make it 99.99$, feels different but is almost the same.
Now, if 75% is 580, 773 is 100%. Make it 777 for cool number.
So, 1 - Increase damage to 777.
Mana cost, it's shit for sniper. Sure, just 2 spells, but cast this one twice and even late game you are low on mana. Still, cast it twice and you probably trashed someone's HP, especially with that damage increase. 325 to 275, not radical, but always neat ( same deal as with Lion's Aghanim, it's just icing on the cake).
Range, it's 2,5k units. That's a lot. The problem is, you rarely have vision that far unless enemy is dancing around your wards, your team is chasing them or they got some spell on them. I think buffing this too much isn't worth it, but how about 500 more yards ? Not much and 3k is nice number.
So we buffed Range, Mana Cost and Damage. Cooldown is too nice to buff, 10 seconds, so instead listen to this :
1. I thought about making 2 changes. One is to make him able to cast ultimate while moving and so that it's doesn't require channel. Spell is still delayed, but sniper takes aim on the run i.e. he can chase and get ultimate off at the same time. Now, here comes the interesting part. If his ultimate doesn't kill, it leaves debuff that gives vision (tiny, 100 range around hero). It could be called "Fluorescent Charge". The reason for this is that 10 second cooldown of his Ultimate would be less than the debuff. Let's say, 11 seconds. This makes for scenarios where sniper goes for the kill, leaves target on low HP and the big chase for "finisher" begins.
This option sounds fun for me ( commando sniper if his target has alive allies), but is in conflict with his lore, which focuses a lot on "that single perfect shot".
So here's option number 2 :
Since his lore is about 1 big shot and we already buffed the damage, how about making shot itself more awesome ? How about projectile going through the target and following a new one if the previous one dies from the shot. Now, this sounds silly, as super powered gunshot turns into long range Chain Frost. To make it less "crazy" we can make the "search" area for projective after leaving the previous target a cone, still 2,5k range, but 30 degree or so angle. This could lead to funny scenarios if enemies are fleeing in a lane.
Still, those 2 ideas seem interesting to me, but something is missing. The double shot isn't fitting, the chain shot seems weird.
Buffing damage further seems boring, making it AoE too simple and powerful, cooldown, mana, none of these. Sniper, long range, big final shot, takes aim. What to improve ?
It can't be essential, it should be fun and should encourage more Ultimate use. The latter is problematic due to it's cost, while cooldown is already low. How about making it return mana for the cost at kill ? Set! This one will do, but we need 1 more thing.
Summary for now :
Aghanim Upgrade : Decrease Mana cost to 275, increase range to 3000, increase damage to 777, upon succesful kill of enemy hero refunds mana and ...
I am thinking boring stuff, like chance to crit, stun, etc.
Can't quite think of nice thing to throw on top of those regular buffs.
You guys decide :
- further increase damage, maybe to 999 ?
- 25% chance to crit (with 777, that would be around 1.1k damage after 25% magic reduction)
- Stuns for 4 seconds (op to start a fight)
- when used on creeps becomes AoE (500 ?)
- will kill if target is below certain HP (too much like Axe/AA)
- pushes target away from sniper by 600 units
- think of something else ?
imo sniper ultimate is fine, he needs a bit more str gain, or a buff in his range skill, something like extra damage if the enemy is far

I wasn't debating about buffing his ultimate, but about giving him Aghanim Scepter upgrade.

Just had a game were our Anti-Mage was so fucking bad, he died and died and we were literally trapped in our city, with no vision and he just kept going to the jungle to farm and died.
But we realized of something quick, every time he got ganked they used silencer ulti to get him, and since we are an AOE spell team, we just used that to our advantage. We told antimage to go farm and everytime he got ganked and died, we went there to clean out the enemy team. Eventually we won every big team fight with the help of our beloved baiting-mage and won.

Less like bad team mates working for something, more like team greatly utilising it's assets, in this case reckless Anti-Mage and overkill from the enemy team.
