I used to build an armlet as early as possible but now I try and go for a less carry and more of a ganker into a permabash hero. Vanguard is probably my new favorite starting item over armlet after playing him for a while. Either way, I go for AC once I get my core for the extra attack speed bonuses since I already have damage from the bash. My team won a match against all odds.I kept pushing as phantom lancer to their middle barracks&towers and once I was in the base the anciend went down,even if OD and Weaver tried to stop it. ID is 15637148 3 of my mates had about 20 deaths and only 5 kills each,except for a bountyhunter who had 7deaths and 12 kills.Minute 15 and we had only 5 kills while the other team had 20.And then the middle pushing began. Its one of the best experience dota offers,comebacks.Awesome.

Slardar is a flexible hero, going Vanguard & Blink Dagger is just as viable as going Armlet.

sange and blink dagger is better imo, lets you build it into halberd later

I don't consider Armlet being a pub item, it gives good temporary DPS and bonus HP, and Armlet toggling can save your ass quite many times. But yeah for Slardar, Sange into Heaven's Halberd might be better, I have to try that out.

I just build against who I'm facing but I might experiment with the sange idea.

Slar is a fun hero. You can build him a lot of ways.

because the bkb can't instantly kill someone or make you invisible so therefor its basically useless

Now that I think about it, MoM its only viable on Faceless Void and the rest heroes that you seen it with are usually "rejected". A 1 hero item, heh. Edit; WD owns, thats all I'm going to pick the day meepo is released and instalocked everytime.

How come sometimes the courior doesn't come to me even though the icon in the bottom left says me? He just sits there when I use the hotkeys but my portrait is still on the thing.

Man all I want to do is play some Dota. Last night the servers were down for hours, and now today whenever I join a game, it just tells me "The servers are probably busy". Like what the fuck, all my friends are able to join games but me.
