Using smoke to rush in as a team and take down the enemy's unprotected Ancient which has a quarter health left, while your own ancient is left exposed :v:.
What's the use of smoke? To avoid wards? All I really use it for is to smoke out roshan if I'm playing ursa/lycan but I'm pretty sure there are more uses for it.
It has lots of creative uses. Avoiding wards/smoking into Rosh are two. They can be really useful for ganking. While you appear a few units out, you can get a lot of people close for a strong and sudden gank on a target. It's like a 250 gold Mirana ult.
Avoiding wards, setting up a gank which requires coming into an enemy's FoV, backdooring a game without detection, etc. Since Dust fades when you approach enemy heroes, though, a lot of pubs don't jump to buy ti.
Worth saying that the smoke fade radius is smaller than the actual day view radius, allowing you to come closer to the enemy to gank him.
Smoke at night. Hilarity ensues.
It also gives you a nice bonus movement speed during it, allows you to avoid projectiles if used correctly, and it's maybe the only invisibility that doesn't break when you do any action, it only breaks when you get close to an enemy hero or runs out. Because the enemy needs to be within 1200 units for the smoke to break, while night vision is only 800 units.
Randomed QoP and the enemy became absolutely obsessed with killing me. By obsessed I mean they would just ignore everyone else on my team and any towers that might've been slaughtering them and run at me even though they only had one easily dodgeable stun and I had already long blinked to safety. It did not go very well for them.
What the fuck axe is so op. I somehow managed to beef myself up to 6k hp, 3 divine rapiers, heart of tarrasque, bloodstone, a quelling blade i kept for some reason, holy fucking shit. When axe gets counter helix, he can solo both ancient camps until he gets heart, then he just goes on a fucking rampage destroying everything, 150 hp regen, was 1 hit killing everything jesus christ

You can cast spells, though.
"help i got fed super hard so i'm gonna start calling this hero op"
Woah. Me and a friend went on matchmaking some minutes ago. We were trying out heroes (me as Leshrac, him as Slardar) for the first time. I expected the usual annoying teammates but to my surprise, my team was made of really nice people. Before the match starts, they all wish good luck and fun for us and to the enemies, who were also pretty friendly guys too. Long story short, we all had a really good and fun game. Team battles were even, and their Death Prophet gave us some trouble, but we won in the end. Everyone was participating and doing the best they could, in these kind of moments when you can FEEL teamwork happening. No whining, no tacticool speak, no swearing, just 47 minutes of probably the best Dota 2 match I've ever played. Needles to say I felt obliged to commend all of those people. Also Leshrac is an awesome hero.
I just had the most amazing game as tinker. My entire team was under leveled by a lot. Luckily I managed the push top lane all the way into their base while the rest of my team was defending our ancient. Being Tinker with boots of travel I could successfully push a wave and TP back and help defend almost simultaneously. I killed the ancient while they had ours health halfway down.
I demand a replay, otherwise I'm calling BS.
I played against bots since i'm still learning axe so no replay. I guess that just killed it then.
Just played Leshrac for the first time extremely bland
Just played Leshrac for the first time extremely bland
he's okay and imba imo, everyone who does well with him (almost everyone does well) shit talks and thinks it makes them pro god I hate that shit
Just played Leshrac for the first time extremely bland
The best int hero is bland?
I tried Puck in a bot match today. I don't really know what to say, I'm not good with DOTA 2 lingo. the ult was nice.

Does Leshrac still have that really annoying walking sound? I remember playing him a while back and hated him just because he was really annoying to listen to when he walked
Does Leshrac still have that really annoying walking sound? I remember playing him a while back and hated him just because he was really annoying to listen to when he walked
I don't know man, i think he has one of the better voice actings. Sven on the other hand...
-snip- I was late.
The best int hero is bland?
it's very arguable if he's the best (as in he isn't), and besides that, best != fun
I don't know man, i think he has one of the better voice actings. Sven on the other hand...
...is awesome since he sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger
I don't know man, i think he has one of the better voice actings. Sven on the other hand...
Not his voice but the sound it makes when he runs, its like a liquidy noise that just gets really annoying after a while
