Dota 2 - "slapping your ballsack against the keyboard waiting for the pretty bars above the enemys h - Games

Lycan on the enemy team makes me butthurt.

Ugh, fuck. Every time I see Lycan on the enemy team I know we're going to lose. Last game of the night I was playing for shits and trying to have fun so I picked Batrider. [I]Laned[/I] against Lycan with Jugg and we just had nothing to harass with and he raped the shit out of us. I hate seeing Lycan on the other team, despite how little it actually happens.

I tried DotA 2 again today. 1/3 of the games I was in had 3 players AFK in OUR TEAM and the other team was winning at full blast. Argh!

Man I just started playing storm spirit again after not playing him in a long long time. He's so fun to play sometimes. Just had a game where our riki was being stupid and losing his advantage and started feeding an AM. We almost lost but because of my hex stick + W combo I was able to shut down AM long enough. And when I got an orchid he couldn't do shit after he manta'd. Storm's voice is also great. Just being a chaotic little ball of joy.

Bloodseeker can counter lycan easily in early, mid game.

Just went Warlock solo bot lane as radiant, meka and arcane before 12 min and their mid raxx fell by 15 minutes. It's so fun to see people flail around trying to do something about a heavy push before 20 minutes. Great plays by our Veno and WR.

What the fuck...I'm playing with 2 people with under 50 wins (1 only has 2 fucking games.) and guess who I get placed against? AL| Shatan (actually him. Steam profile checked out + there were 50+ spectators) and several people with above 300 wins each. Matchmaking is broken sometimes.

Time to shine![/QUOTE] Um..No. I was doing fine soloing top but my team fed out their assholes and yah...They had a gem for me within 10 minutes. Game was over within 25 minutes. They then sat at our spawn killing us over and over again. Several of them even had gems to stop me from leaving as Clinkz.

Lothars or any invis is not bad, even against competent people. Trick is to not stay passive. As Drow with Shadow Blade, if they keep ganking you with dust (i.e. 2 ganks, not more, don't fall behind), then start ganking yourself. 100 bonus damage and MS boost is nice, and when you appear with that behind some guy farming, chances are your Slow + Silence will finish them off. Same with PL actually. Too many people us his Dopplewalk when it's too late. Why not max it early (i.e. low mana cost) and use it whenever you "think" gank may happen ? You are farming, no enemies on the minimap, count to 3 and go invisible, prefferably sidestepping from possible entrance areas. This is tricky, but if done correctly they will dust/sentry ward/nuke illusion that they were certain was you. It also helps to micro illusions, I once lived only because I picked up Illusion rune as Lion, made all units stop and send illusion to run away. I was getting attacked, but the guy attacking me went with the instinct. If he actually looked at the damage he was doing to me (real Lion) he could guess that I wasn't an illusion, but "Who would be stupid enough to run away with illusion if real hero is being attacked anyway?", so he went after that illusion. Mind games people, they exist.

imo The trick with lothars on Drow is that lothars should be a stepping-stone to hitting late-game. It's a powerful ganking tool that can give you the upperhand, but if you start thinking that you can use shadow blade to farm deep into enemy territory and escape then you could seriously hurt yourself. Not to say that lothars can't be used that way, but if you rely on it for risky escapes too much you have the potential of becoming too comfortable and getting killed when the enemy actually buys dust/gem.
