Usually if I face lycan I try to use heroes that can have him waste his ult (Earthshaker fissure can trap him behind a teamfight or separate him from at least most of my team for 8 seconds) [editline]13th May 2012[/editline]
Granted, but still, getting good habits in pubs is better than being like "pubs are bad so I can do things wrong".
The dmg boost from shooting from invisible is still pretty good. tbh I think wards make it easier instead of lothars if you're farming in their territory and facing a competent team.

Can anyone recommend a good ability build with Storm Spirit? Preferably for middle and top.

So im pretty new to the Dota scene, played some SC2 DOTA but never anything hardcore, can anyone either defend that Riki is balanced or OP because if I can do this my first time playing Riki I think I know who im playing from now on.

I dunno about this guide but i really prefer maxing out overload first on SS, I feel like its better to relay on the autoattack than on the spell they have to walk over to get damaged. Also, early game you dont really have mana to be spamming static remmnant(My opinion).
I like the BOSS guides Sadly, there's only 3 of them.
that dk one is really not good btw [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] dont max dragon blood first, get one level in tail and blood then max breathe fire. idk why it recommends a level in fire breath early instead of just maxing it, breathe fire level 1 is one of the worst level 1 spells in the game

Also you really need that electric vortex to capitalize on static remnant and play very aggressively and then once you have all these skills that you're spamming constantly does overload become a good choice.

But yeah, I just feel overload is better to have in ganks(Just my personal opinion).
Eugh, I've lost like 9 games in a row now, lost terribly too.
Why doesn't Icefrog buff/rework "unviable" heroes to make them viable in competitive play? I'm not talking about heroes that don't fit into the current metagame, but ones that I hear a lot of people call utter trash (although I enjoy playing them), like bloodseeker and juggernaut.
For the most part, they aren't designed to be viable in the first place. The game may rely mostly on the competitive scene for balance changes, but it still features stuff for pub players.
For the most part, they aren't designed to be viable in the first place. AM, Tekquoia, Lycan, Windrunner, Broodmother, and many others. They are often picks and bans at the top and people can have fun with them in the Pubs. I think that neither Bloodseeker or Jugg have serious issues, people just don't see their potential in pub play, thus they don't really get to show off. Jugg is 1vs1 master with his ultimate up until teamfights, when it's not so great. If he could gank with some disable/AoE clean (to get rid of creeps) guy, he would instagib a lot of heroes. Bloodseeker is solo-sustainer and all he needs is someone with stun to assist him. Rupture - you can't run away, and his silence has both early game uses and late game uses (semi-carry with 80% dmg boost). TP doesn counter Rupture, but imagine Seeker + Invoker nearby with maxed Wex for long range Tornadoes.
Remember that time I had fun playing as AM? neither do i [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] imo bloodseeker would be better if he had some sort of a mediocre steroid attached to his Thrist

Blink in front of people to attack and block their movement, etc. I don't see what the problem is. Countering him isn't so bad since we got guys like Bane, Rhasta, OD, etc. In terms of Bloodseeker. What would a steroid with thrist accomplish ? He does deal a lot of damage already if he buffs himself with Bloodrage, thrist allows him to chase and reveal, Bloodbath is perfect for staying alive, Rupture is great all around. He is Agility hero, so he can lategame if he happens to start snowballing, he is durable due to Bloodbath, so he is valiable aura carrier and Radiance carrier. I honestly fail to see why he has bad reputation. I think he isn't played in tournaments is because of current meta. He doesn't have counter-push / push or big teamfight AoE, neither does he carry as fast as other carries around. If we had a ganks-based and skirmish-based meta, he could be a nice counter to Night Stalker for example. He can live in lane against stalker easily and with vision he can counter-gank him. Just follow him and once he is around lane, you can pop Rupture. He can't go in, as he will loose HP, and he is sitting duck for Seeker, lane he wanted to gank and possibly jungler. He is also perfect anti-chase, Lycan must hate Seeker a lot now that I think of it.

It's Furion from Dota 2
Who?
I thought I will start using his new name, Furion is Warcraft character after all. So it's Tequoia / Nature's Prophet for me now.
bloodseeker is just a really shitty nightstalker
bloodseeker is just a really shitty nightstalker
Silence/Damage Buff . Heal on Kill Move . speed steroid if enemy is hurt / reveal . Move = Damage debuff Nuke/Slow (buffed at night) . Silence (buffed at night) . AS/MS steroid(works at night) . Night time on demand Suuuure, they are so similar, you can just call one worse version of the other. It's like saying Zeus is just a real shitty Tinker, or Enchantress is just real shitty Chen
