I hate/love when my team pulls his shit together end game and even if we win the fights we just cant push since we dont have towers and fight mega creeps. This game with Tidehunter we do really bad early game, really bad. They dont let me farm my blink, supports get the farm, our phantom lancer manages to farm pretty well, since I cant farm I just play his bitch, warding, counter-warding, scoring him so kills, and when the enemy manages to get to your ancient our Phantom Lancer has a full set, literally, all full. RAPES the shit out of Lycan and Drow together and I somehow manage to get my blink and our supports just get their shit together finally and we just own. Sadly, with no towers and super creeps, just stand there, doing nothing but killing the pushes, everytime we do a team whipe the enemy buys back and pushes again, eventually in the middle of a teamfight the creeps from top destroy our ancient. This happened me more than once and its so annoying. If my team was so good to win in disadvantage end game how could they play so bad early. :c

Speaking of which, who do you guys usually like to q up with? I don't really like to q with players past 150+ wins because I either a.) will be stuck with players much more skilled than I am or b.) get yelled at for simple mistakes. Also practically everyone in this thread is not good at DOTA, with the exception of Banned and a few others. Most of us are decent or "above average."

How good are the "normal" level bots compared to pub games? I've been practicing against bots all the tme, and I'm really scared of hopping into pubs. I do decently against bots, sometimes I'll carry hard with Bloodseeker or I'll play a decent game with Morphling, and I've gotten to the point where I can play most heroes with basic knowledge of their skills and not get totally destroyed. I don't really have a support I enjoy playing though (which I feel is something neccesary for pubs), I was considering Venomancer though. I've found myself playing carries like 99% of the time though, or initiators. Is there a hero that you think I should move towards, or should I just be like "fuck it" and roll Lich? Anyway, do you think it's safe to test the waters and finally play a pub game?

I find queuing with friends on skype to be fun as I can help them with their mistakes and they wont be total dicks about shit that happens

Yeah I usually queue with skype friends. We usually talk mad trash to each other if someone fucks up though. :v:
