I tried streaming once. Xsplit gave me a black screen when I streamed full screen, tried windowed and I couldn't scroll down, I had to move around dragging the minimap. Does borderless window fix this problem? I haven't tried it.

Borderless Window with your fullscreen settings is probably the best you can ever go for in any kind of game.

Yes, borderless window fixes this problem completely.
[release]-sw -noborder -w 1680 -h 1050 -novid[/release]
Stick that in your launch options, but change the numbers to your resolution.
I use that string on all Valve games.
Does Treant Protector see much competitive play? I know he was only added to Captains Mode last December. It seems he'd be useful against teams that don't damage towers very fast.

dota has the option to set borderless window ingame why would you need the command
