True enough. Guess I'm too quick to judge their current performance.
I wouldn't hate microing so much if there was an easy way to deal with it. Like, if there was a way to group units (I know there aren't that many to control, even with Chen, but it'd help) and then select the groups quickly, or select everything (including you) quickly, I'd try to micro more often, but as far as I know it's all up to you to select the units and control them. Even if it wasn't a keybind, like a UI element, it'd help.

F1 - F5 or so will select all the things you can control, your hero being F1, courier being F2 and creeps being the rest.

That already exists in Dota 2, you know that right ?
So why, in the Steam patch notes for Dota 2 on May 9th, did valve call SF Nevermore on one of his bug fixes but SF on another bug fix in the same patch? A+ consistency
Armlet is good on any STR hero who relies on autoattacks. Fuck that if you can't replenish the hp you loose with it's active, manliest item in the game. Combines well with MoM too IMO.
MoM is a bad item on anyone but FV and it's a bad idea among bad ideas to combine it with an Armlet.
MoM is a bad item on anyone but FV and it's a bad idea among bad ideas to combine it with an Armlet.
Unless you are playing sing sing's amazing Alchemist build where you get armlet and mask of madness and a basher. CRAZY ATTACK SPEED AND BASHES ALL THE TIME.
I hate SingSing so fuck that.
Unless you are playing sing sing's amazing Alchemist build where you get armlet and mask of madness and a basher. CRAZY ATTACK SPEED AND BASHES ALL THE TIME.
don't forget the 3 other Mjolnirs
don't forget the 3 other Mjolnirs
Basher, Armlet, MoM, BoT, 2 Bfuries. [editline]19th May 2012[/editline] Also upgrade basher to abyssal.
Click+Drag select all the units you want in the group. Hit Ctrl+#. That number is now bound to that control group.
Most of the time I just use tab unless I need to move them separately.
I guess Queen of Pain is my kinda hero. I mean I don't fuck up with here as much. But I'm a little fuzzed about which items to get her. Treads are obviously a must. Bottle, of course. Other than that, I dunno. Scythe seems cool but it's cost so much, plus it doesn't provide health regen so instead I aim for Linken's Sphere. If I received gold I would get a Demon Edge, if received more I'd get another Demon Edge. Because Demon Edges are awesome and they have been featured in the comic. So ya, suggestions about QoP build.
What's the most idiot-proof Invoker skill build?
Quas, exort for easy ganking. Quas first, then invoke, then exort. Mostly points into exort but don't neglet quas, once you get invoke to level 2 get coldsnap and forge spirits. Then go gank, summon your spirits, drag select you and the sprits and coldsnap your poor victim. Autoattack him to death.

Linkin's is great on her otherwise, but it's situational and with her mobility you can always heal up elsewhere. Also if you stretch into late game (although you shouldn't with her) then I like to get Aghs for mass ult spam or else you stop being relevant.
I see no EMP+Tornado 0/10
EMP Tornado is harder to hit now, because units in the air wont get hit by the EMP, so you have to know what the timing is for every tornado level and EMP level so you can time it properly.

I dont like playing QoP
EMP Tornado is harder to hit now, because units in the air wont get hit by the EMP, so you have to know what the timing is for every tornado level and EMP level so you can time it properly.
While EMP+Tornado isn't as effective anymore, I find Quas Wex is still damn good in pubs, when it comes to ganking. Tornado is a beautiful spell for ganking a lane, as almost everyone recognizes "Oh, it's time to gank!" when a giant whirlwind comes off screen and sweeps up your enemies. The lift duration gives your allies time to breathe and get into position to gank, and Cold Snap makes it so that even an autoattack contributes significantly to the kill. I can't think of a more pub-friendly hero that makes ganking with your team easy. Quas Exort is good for solo killing, due to the ease of stun locking with forge spirits, or basically freezing someone in spot with Ice Wall, but ganking and helping win the other lanes with the power of Tornado+Cold Snap is so much more useful as well. Quas Wex also scales pretty well, because the slowing component of Ice Wall, and push+disarm components of Deafening Blast are infinitely more useful than the damage components. You also get insane attack speed with Alacrity, while the damage bonus is nothing to sneeze at, either. A lot of people seem to perceive Quas Wex as "EMP TORNADO 400 MANA BURN IMBA" only, and that once the combo was nerfed that it became effectively useless. However, the early-game disables Quas Wex brings to your team can ravage your opponent's early game, which can break their will and win your the game.
haha holy fuck kunkka is so good, out of 700+ games I never played him
I see no EMP+Tornado 0/10
thats only useful in teamfights really
Quas Exort is the only way to play Invoker. Sunstrike First Blood errey game.

There's a lack of Divine Rapiers in that build...
what the fuck are you building
a whole inventory of daedelus's
a whole inventory of daedelus's
needs more battlefuries to stack with tidebringer
needs more battlefuries to stack with tidebringer
quite frankly, it needs a shadow blade.
