storm spirit in wtf mode is great dash across the whole map to deal 2k damage with ult
Heh, zeus wants to have a word with you.
Heh, zeus wants to have a word with you.
Zeus in wtf mode is just boring
We lost that game too because of that jackass.
you just started talking about the scene out of nowhere, like that dendi has a lot of duels on tf2, what relevance does that have to dota other than dendi
Just something I noticed when playing TF2.
question: when you're casting, is your entire cast being recorded for later?
question: when you're casting, is your entire cast being recorded for later?
Depends on what service and program you use.
anyone have a good video of a tidehunter in a match? my friend just started playing and it's the first hero he's enjoyed because that ult is just so obviously effective and terrifying when you start out. he's got the basics down but it'd help to see how a match flows.
question: when you're casting, is your entire cast being recorded for later?
iirc, there's a setting that can do that. I think some of my sp game streams were recorded.
shut up you're all junk.
bd i pissed blitz off by trying to explain the situation i said it three times (because he wasn't saying anything so i assumed he didn't see it) and he said "holy shit i know, calm down raccooon" i just cant do anything right with that man
question: when you're casting, is your entire cast being recorded for later?
For Twitch, they're held for a week or two.
first game as windrunner was going pretty well, but then, shit happened obviously wasn't ALL 45-min-bkb-slardar's fault that we lost, but he sure was a big part of it
Ok, I don't care what bad experiences you had with this game, look at this shit As you can see I was the Storm Spirit, I went fucking 10/0 in the early game, and we managed to lose. It was absolutely incredible. At the beginning I told my team we had lost as soon as everyone picked because we had no strength (I picked first so don't tell me I should have). QoP said nah we got this and I kept it to myself that she was retarded. I actually started to believe we may win when I got a GODLIKE by 21:30. But then they started pushing together and my monumentally stupid team all grouped up so Sk and FV could combine their ults to rape every single one of them consistently. I was fine when it happened the first time, even though they should have had enough sense to not let it happen, but when they didn't learn from it I just lost it. And if you watch the replay (which I want people to do just so they can share in and I can feel justified in my rage) you'll see later on that Viper and QoP say I told them not to pick strength heroes which is simply bullshit (I think the QoP and viper were q'd up). I have never raged harder at any game ever. Fuck I'm mad. And if you do want to watch the replay (it's some A+ Storm Spirit work if I do say so myself) here's the match ID for easy copy/paste: 16918520 Oh and I didn't actually mean I thought this was the worst thing to ever happen to anyone in DotA, I realize worse things have certainly happened, it's just the worst thing to happen to me and the retarded antics of 2 of my teammates made it worse. Oh, and get a load of this: The QoP had 68 wins, the Viper 82, the Death Prophet 37 (I was partied with him but still), and the enemy team all had 100+ wins except for the treant who had 84. The CM had 115 but that's still less than the Drow and Vengeful Spirit. I've seen much more imbalanced win numbers in the thread but all this shit just comes together to make me even more angry.
For Twitch, they're held for a week or two.
I still have vods from October.
I was wondering, how to you guys build/skill Bounty? I usually go E/W/E/Q/Q/R/Q/Q/E/E/R/E/W/W/W/S/R/ What's best to build on him, though? I see a lot of people grba vlads, but I go for Treads, Medallion, AC, and SnY.
Wow, I carried so hard with Ursa the enemy team was calling gg 20 mins in Fucking awesome to play him when the team lets me farm
>_>

After maxing windwalk, I go for jinada then shuriken. For me, I build bottle+wand for mana and build a deso and medallion to see the enemies health melt away with all that -armor.
Does anyone else find themselves calling GG at the loading screen? I see some people on the other team with clantags and look pretty pro, while my team is just a bunch of casuals with ragecomic\lolcat avatars who pick all carries.
I don't call gg right at the loading screen but I will feel intimidated if they have a bunch of wins (300+)
I want a locked follow cam
I want a locked follow cam
Double click your character portrait.
Double click your character portrait.
Not locked
I want a locked follow cam
having a locked follow camera impairs your view of what's going on around you.
Yeah, I used to be a huge locked camera gamer, but I've learned to stop doing that. I still have "select character/lock camera" set to space bar instead of f1 (i mean who thought of that), so i can easily double tap space and hold it to lock the camera on me so i can get reoriented. It works for me.

I want a locked camera function.... for the replay system, it seems to switch focus from one hero to another completely at random. I want to focus on me playing (Insert hero here) and I set it to player perspective. A few seconds later we're taken across the map to focus on sodding necrolyte like the thing choosing what hero to focus on has ADHD or something. Perhaps there was an option for this that I missed, in which case, anyone care to tell?

Hero chase is what locked would be but player perspective shows you there mouseclicks etc.

That's the AI director focusing on the action.
whenever the camera focuses on a hero in the fountain it means nothing interesting is going on.
imo There should be a Director for each specific player as well as the game in and of itself. Every replay camera, save for free camera, can have issues with showing kills clearly for recordings. For instance, in one video I did for youtube, I two-shotted an enchantress as Drow. However, Enchantress was just a little too far away and the initiating shot ended up falling off-screen.
You know what is fun? When a game is paused, the animated Hero avatar is also paused, but not completely. For example Shadow Fiend, his body movement will pause when the game is paused, but his jaw will keep shutting and opening up.
