Uh, guys, how do I get through translucent rock wall, there's a lot of stuff there but I'm not sure how to get in. It's a small area sealed from the outside.
Nevermind, I used a wand of disintegration that I found (damn powerful) and blasted one of the wall pieces away.

I can't because I have a Danish keyboard :<
What god do you guys prefer? I just got to the point where I could choose one, and I chose Yredelemnul. Is he any good? I read through them and he seemed the best.
It depends on your playstyle.

Depends on what character. Read the descriptions, see what ones fit.
How do you play in windowed mode?
Go to the tile options file in the settings folder. Change tile_full_screen to false and remove the # from behind it. If the text appears without any breaks, open it in wordpad.

I usually worship Trog, he fits my playstyle.
Trog is a fucktard, he laughed at me when I died at stage 1 as level 1 berserker to a bunch of goblins.

Trog is awesome for me, after a bit of killing he's "very pleased", just remember to sacrifice all of the bodies.
How many scrolls can you expect to have to read before you can level up regularly in spellcraft?
Xom is awesome. He makes everything up to you when you fuck up, because he gets amused when you do.
You die.
Xom howls with laughter.
Damn you Xom :argh:
It's awesome game, my favorite roguelike. But I suck in it to be honest.
Xom is the best, ten moves into the game he gives me a dwarven banded mail(god gift) :D
I want a skeleton as a character :yohoho:
If you train up necromancy enough and find a Necronomicon, you can cast Necromutation, which turns you into a lich.

What do liches get?
Lich-y-ness.
I can't get very far as a necromancer, I always die so fast. How do you play as one correctly?
A dead wang
I got pretty far as a deep dwarf. Then I ran out of health potions.
I make my deep dwarves chaos knights. Health potions are useless.

If you hover over stairs when you are on them it tells you the button too press, including an alternative (I think it is SHIFT - Left Click)
And for Gods, Trog treated me pretty well, but Xom is just hilarious lol, was playing as a troll (which no armour seems to fit, sigh) and he kept giving me pieces of armour that I couldn't wear. Then he gave me some darts, so I threw one at an enemy and it was an enchanted fire dart.
So now I love him, he messes you around a bit (lowering your stats, giving you bad things) but then he gives you very good things (mutated the hell out of me, ended up with lots of different coloured scales, horns and very sharp claws). Then he gave me 4 long lived Large Abomination pets, it was awesome.

How does that work? Do the chaos gods heal you?
I think one of the chaos gods heals you when you get kills
How to butcher corpses?:downs:
-Snip-
Worked it out mahself lol
What do liches get?
Torment, negative energy, and cold resistance. They also get a strength boost, AC boost, bonus to necromancy, and draining unarmed attacks.
Can someone explain what the +1 +1 numbers mean on weapons?
Can someone explain what the +1 +1 numbers mean on weapons?
I believe the first number is your attack modifier, and the second number is your damage modifier. So a +1,+3 axe would give you a +1 to actually hitting the enemy, and then a +3 to the damage you do if you hit them.
