When you play Mass Effect 2 for the PC, does it ask you to log in? Or when it asks for a Cerberus Code, can you enter your 360 gamertag? I'm looking at the EA support website for possible aid in redeeming everything from the 360 version to the PC and it doesn't specify, and I don't want to waste time going back and forth with e-mails on EA support.

If it's not an SC2 fanboy whining about the smallest things in ME2, it's a Halo fanboy whining about how Halo should have won.
There's really no point to those voting competitions. It's just a competition of opinions, promoting even more fanboy-ism than there already is. And lord knows the gaming community doesn't need more of that.

Really doubting ME2 will win. SC2 was and is hyped to hell, much more-so than ME2 was, and the majority of G4 users seem to like it more, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
Again, I couldn't care less either way. And at least it isn't as biased as, say, Gamespot/FAQ's "Character Battles" where Final Fantasy wins every single time.
After watching some game play videos I'm really interested in buying Mass Effect 2.
Is it really necessary (story-wise) to get me1 first?

If you really want to enjoy ME2 and ME3. Yes
No, you don't have to, but you won't get the satisfaction of having YOUR Shepard run around beating people up, and you will get a distinctly shallower game
