I thought the terminator was pretty big copout in general, it completely kills MEs style, and it's not even a difficult fight. I mean sure, using genetic material to make a new reaper whatever, that's fine, but then it looks like a skeleton and it just causes me to rage. [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline]
I'd appreciated fighting a controlled Collector General, I always imagined he'd act in a way like an Antlion Guard... Imagine fighting him while getting swarmed with Collectors and the Terminator fetus pops up a few times to destroy the environment and cover. Now that'd be a boss fight.
I'm pretty sure the general was meant to be a fragile collector that's probably less alterred than the other collectors. Pretty sure if you punched him his legs would fall off. Well I guess, and they needed him to show/hint Collectors had emotions and all.
That too. Also how did I double edit, I didn't even click the frigging button twice.
Well apparently:
Flip that. Seems ME2 is leading with 56%.
Fuck yeah.

His name is Frank, and he never got laid. Everyone hates him.
Ugly Shepards! WHOO!
His name is Frank, and he never got laid. Everyone hates him.
Cant say that was surprising.
I didn't mean for everyone to hate him, he just turned out to be an ugly jerk.
I found this little piece of hilarity while looking at random videos. :smug:
Keep getting pwned by that Krogan and his geth buddies for ME1.
I understood the reasoning behind Saren being a final boss (both from an explanation how the Alliance was able to take down Sovereign, as well as a callback to old fashioned games/movies, which Mass Effect was full of.) I still am annoyed the Shadow Broker wasn't a gentlemen in a suit :( [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Kill the Reaper fetus by destroying the tubes, then battle the Collector General.
Nah, would have been cooler if you were to battle through a massive horde of Collectors with lots ASSUMING, DIRECT CONTROLLING, and THIS HURTS YOU-ing just go get one shot at the general. Time would slow down, you'd have like ten seconds to shoot at him with any gun of your choice, one bullet would fatally wound him. Then the whole "you have failed releasing control LOL" part or something dunno how reaper fetus fits into this though [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] How did Shepard and the Normandy guys even get knowledge of Harbinger (well, knowledge that he's a Reaper)

And EDI hacking the cruiser and/or the base.

I would say that the problem with the reaper was poor execution rather then being inherently flawed. Personally I would've gone for a boss-fight that was more of a puzzle with a few shooty-shooty bits instead, although I'd agree that it'd mess with the pacing
Doubt they would kill off Illusive Man in the hologram room too early. I'm betting he'll get some reaper tech, and turn himself to into the final boss. That was stupid, said Zezibesh.
That would be incredibly stupid
Better final boss idea for ME2 instead of aborting Reaper Fetus. You confront the Collector general, and speak to Harbinger, not unlike the conversation with Sovereign in ME1. You fight him for a bit after, kill him, and then go to destroy the station. As you walk over to the console, the shutters open and outside you see the Reaper Fetus, laying inactive. It is then that TIM calls, and you make your choice to destroy the station and the Reaper with it, or to wipe the station, killing the Reaper but leaving it's corpse.
Just got full survival. Took me long enough :v:
Just got full survival. Took me long enough :v:
Feels good when that happens What did you do with the station ?
Feels good when that happens What did you do with the station ?
Kerploded it.
I decided to keep mine for the save I'm going to import to ME3. Just want to see what'll happen.
Damn straight. Fuck Cerberus, they just gonna do stupid shit with it. They might be the largest pro-human faction around but they're fucked up so I don't give a shit about them. [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] Or you could of just looked it up on the Wiki or used a save editor to see what happened and then go back to a normal playthrough. Not for the Alliance or the Council.
'Cerberus is humanity.'
No, he thinks Cerberus is humanity because he believes everyone else has betrayed humanity to aliens. He's just being selfish and using his own stupid ideals instead of the ones people think Cerberus uses. He'll use it wrong and to the worst effect just to keep the power where he wants it.
I'm gonna port each save I make/made, and all my saves will be from ME1.
