We also have absolutely zero evidence of Reapers having personality, as we understand them right now they just seem like Legion times a billion. Just a singular purpose conjoining billions of disjointed, and likely unstable minds.
I beg to differ, Harbinger and Sovereign had fairly distinct personalities. Whereas Sovereign was significantly more violent and secular in his speech, Harbinger sounded almost religious.
Which one? I have the same amount of ME playthroughs, ten more on ME2.
More specifically I have done 8 complete playthroughs of ME2. I've got 5 more unfinished.
If you asked me how many characters I have, the answer would be different. I only have 2 characters, one male, one female, although personally I prefer the female one because like all men, I appreciate a good arse
I meant which game :buddy:
Are there any suggestions for good 'coalesced.ini's ?
I meant which game :buddy:
Eh, fuck knows. I played a lot of ME1 as well, although I much prefer ME2
EDIT: This is going to sound incredibly dense, but where the hell are the smileys? I can't sodding find them in the reply menu

I've got it bookmarked :q:
I just imprint the codes in my head, can't be bothered to check a web page.
Gave me an idea, going to tattoo them to my arm at some point in the time/space continuum.
[It's a joke.]

I have a large collection of Ostriches and Emus, each one named after an emote.
I'm here to tell you a beautiful story of loss, tragedy, redemption and... lazy guys.
So I was just taking my dog for a walk, and I started thinking about the Reapers. With confidence that Bioware won't pull the "we won't explain shit, you can't comprehend lol" card it seems that the "Reapers aren't killing us, they're protecting us!" theory feels like the most valid one at the moment.
From what we know, Reapers are built from tanging lots of individual members of a species, and then applying fairy dust and SCIENCE! to create the core, yes?
Well that kinda seems like a massive DNA bank to me. So, they're apparently archiving a whole species, and they need a couple billion members of that species to have proper genetic diversity. Which of course means that they're protecting us from something.
Now, everyone here knows that our galaxy is gonna collide with Andromeda in about 3-5 billion years. Which may or may not be quite devastating to everything in here. So the Reapers are basically taking backups of all sentient species in the galaxy, and incorporating them into themselves.
Other destruction scenarios could include whatever is killing those stars, or a generic "bigger fish" story.
This theory would also allow for a nice twist, when you realize than whenever you kill a Reaper you also extinct a species.

Someone argue with me
You don't need billions of organisms to maintain genetic diversity. The entire population of earth has come from about 10,000 individuals. It's a cool concept, but i think if they were saving us from the collision they'd just tell us instead of setting up an elaborate trap with the mass relays and citadels and exterminating us.
I'm still wondering how we're going to defeat the reapers if it even is possible. My guess is the mass relays will be used like weapons
Trick 'em through a relay that shoots 'em to [del]Mars[/del] Andromeda

As I said, the Collectors got most of their tech from the Reapers, so their ship was likely no exclusion. If a Thanix cannon can gut that, then it's possible for the Citadel races to develop some type of resistance. And we've got advance warning, their guardian is dead, if you scanned the Keepers there's that advantage, a species born to kill everything in it's path, an insectoid race which might have been around during the last extinction cycle, and all that crap. I think we stand a pretty good chance.
And besides, we've got(are) Shepard.

Modify them to act like cannons, and use spaceships filled with explosives as ammo?
Nah, that'd be too over-the-top.

Air quotes and a Turian councilor.

Yeah, the Keepers were there when the Protheans arrived to the Citadel. Hell, they're as old as the place itself, if I remember correctly from Chorban.
You may not understand how important this is, but it suggests that the Citadel wasn't really made by the Protheans! It may have been made by something far older, with the keepers as organic guardians. And what's more, based on my genetic readings, they're supposed to react to...something, some signal or something...about every 50 thousand years. You can measure genetic variances; it's a bit like comparing rings on a tree to see the drought years.
Ok, possibly not from teh start, but they're old.
Reapers made them.
That is my theory as well.

a space marine motor bike with rocket side carrage, 2 people, 2 pairs of aviator sun glasses, a radio that only plays an extended version of fortunate son, mass relay, bike tyres that work in space, booze
That is my theory as well.
It's not a theory, I'm pretty sure Sovereign says it more or less.
I'm still wondering how we're going to defeat the reapers if it even is possible. My guess is the mass relays will be used like weapons
I'm thinking that it might have to do with dark energy and the increasing instability of various stars (Similar to the one in Tali's mission).
I'm thinking that it might have to do with dark energy and the increasing instability of various stars (Similar to the one in Tali's mission).
apply that to a pair of aviators and youve got the most kicken rad shades in the galaxy
I hope this address still works. I promised to send you intel on the keepers if I found anything, and this is important. See, those scans you took? It turns out the keepers are bio-engineered...and based on my comparisons to some of that material from Saren's flagship Sovereign, they were engineered millions of years ago...by the same people who made Sovereign!
Yeah, either by them or with them.
It's not a theory, I'm pretty sure Sovereign says it more or less.
Vigil says the Protheans theorised that the Keepers were a race indoctrinated by the Reapers, and that they might be the first race. And Chorban sends you a message pretty much confirming it.
I'm thinking that it might have to do with dark energy and the increasing instability of various stars (Similar to the one in Tali's mission).
It WILL be that star, I'm guessing. That was like the biggest fucking Chekhov's Gun ever. Almost every character that you meet who has something to say about that star basically goes, "IT'S AGEING PREMATURELY AND IS GOING TO DIE SOON, WINK WINK!" I mean, come on... Chekhov's Mass Accelerator right there.
Air quotes and a Turian councilor.
But what if the Turian councilor was killed?
Then everyone is doomed.
We surely can use Garrus instead.
We surely can use Garrus instead.
Sadly, we long ago dismissed that claim.
