Oh, I thought he was saying that both species can be either gender. Like Garrus is actually a sheman alien abomination space raptor kitty.
Or you can imagine Garrus with long blonde hair and maybe get the image of a Tturian female
Why would Turians have hair? That's just weird.
I can see myself romancing a female Turian in ME3. I wouldn't mind going for an alien but Quarian females whine all the time and Asari are too derp. At least Turian females would be able to actually fight and not complain about breaking a nail mid battle.
I really hope the rumors of ME3 being a online shooter are untrue
I really hope the rumors of ME3 being a online shooter are untrue
That's a retarded rumor.
They better show some female Turians in ME3. With Salarians (90% male), Krogan (all females are kept secluded due to the genophage), and Asari (monogendered) it's explained why you only see one gender, but with Turians, it's never even adressed. Unless it is, and I missed it. But the closest I've seen is some Turian that says "do you know how hard it is to find a female of my species around here?"
I think Salarians males and females are indistinguishable from each other meaning there could be plenty of females, we just don't notice. We really need Turian females though, no reason to not see them. They serve in government positions just as much as men. Could be that they are more likely to be put in a paper-pusher job but that's no reason to not see them around as there are still plenty in the military and police wing. A squadmate, a security guard, a generic enemy, I don't care. Seriously, they made male Quarians and Vorcha, how hard is it to make a female Turian?

There is only one in size and the colour. I doubt BioWare will answer these questions and they are not really important to me. There are a lot of unfired guns storywise and that's where the devs/writers should point their focus.
Mind copy pasting it here?
Sure:
Unfired guns: - The heretics' knowledge of the Reapers (if you rewrote them) - The appearance and "disappearance" of the Leviathan of Dis on Jartar - Dark energy affecting Haestrom's sun, Gianna's worries about dark energy interest - Kasumi's greybox - The mass accelerator weapon that destroyed the Derelict Reaper - The genophage data (if recovered) - Saren's research into indoctrination - Cerberus' financial support within the Alliance military-industrial complex - The rachni
And much more, see the cached version: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:wmDAZ5apFIMJ:social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/5280079/1
Well they're things to address but I don't think they will take up the entire game. A lot of that stuff is likely to be tied together anyway so it's an even smaller list.
- The heretics' knowledge of the Reapers (if you rewrote them)
Will be a sidequest
- The appearance and "disappearance" of the Leviathan of Dis on Jartar
Sidequest at best, if any mention at all
- Dark energy affecting Haestrom's sun, Gianna's worries about dark energy interest
Sidequest
- Kasumi's greybox
Probably never touched again
- The mass accelerator weapon that destroyed the Derelict Reaper
The weapon wasn't there anymore IIRC
- The genophage data (if recovered)
Moral choice during main quest
- Saren's research into indoctrination
Why would this be touched again?
- Cerberus' financial support within the Alliance military-industrial complex
Sidequest at best.
- The rachni
Potential ally, probably a moral choice too Most of these feel like grasping at straws to me
Well my point remains, there is more important stuff to worry about when making ME3, than adding female versions of certain races. The major problem for me are my squadmate and the story. If you could only select two-thirds out of all squadmates and sacrifice/abandon the others it would add some nice replayability. I hope someone gets what I mean.

Sidequest at best. Potential ally, probably a moral choice too Most of these feel like grasping at straws to me
It could be that Bioware planted things like the leviathan of Dis in the first game to have the option open to add them as Quest/Sidequest in the latter games. There are many things that you can read in the planet descriptions that doesen´t amount to anything in ME1 and 2 even if they sound really interesting. Leviathan, "Jupiter Brain", Anomalous gravity signatures and so on Edit: But i would love too see all of those things, at least as small sidemissions, in ME3
Exactly. Just because you read some vague description in Mass Effect doesn't mean it's gonna come back to haunt you in 3.

I think this is mentioned at some point in the game, but I can't think where. What is this "Leviathan of Dis" everyone is talking about?
What is this "Leviathan of Dis" everyone is talking about?
A huge organic ship.
What is this "Leviathan of Dis" everyone is talking about?
My understanding is that a large defunct ship was found on a planet, non-functioning. It was studied by a team of salarians, but a Batarian dreadnought arrived in the system and the ship vanished. And now the batarians are pretty much acting like it never happened.
And where exactly did everyone hear of this? An above post said that it was put in the first game, but I don't remember hearing anything about it.
