I enabled Enemy Shield Recharging, using abilities on Shields (Shields no longer block stuff). I made the M-8 Avenger stronger (10 points of damage originally, now 20). Made the M-15 Whatever it is (Burst Rifle) into a slow automatic gun.
Enabled weapon swapping (pick up enemy weapons). Gave myself Shepard's ME1 armor, gave myself a beret too.

It's annoying how the HUD doesn't seem to have room for all weapon classes, you kinda have to leave out one thing in favor for another. I chose to leave out SMGs in favor of assault rifles.

Anyone find it kind of amusing how the Citadel Fleet, which was supposed to be the single most powerful fleet in the Galaxy, got utterly annihilated by a single Geth armada?
Really shows how 1,200 years of peace can warp your sense of what's effective.

I'd imagine having Sovereign gave them a bit of a leg-up on the Citadel, but I see what you mean.
Also, why exactly were the Council evacuated onto the Ascension? Surely it'd be safer in the Citadel than outside where all the fricking ships attacking them are.

Sovereign just made a mad dash to the Citadel, he didn't actually do any shooting until he was firmly on the Citadel Tower, all the fighting was done by the Geth.

As Canuhearme? said, The council has had peace for over 1.000 years and they had Ascension as their most powerful ship, So they probably regarded it as as their best option
At least if you took the Paragon option

But at least a portion of the fleet would have gone after Sovereign, leaving the rest to fight the Geth. But I agree, they did a poor job all things considered.
