Okay, what did you do? If all were loyal, what positions did you place them? Also, has anyone ever sold Legion(you agreed with Miranda to sell it) because it was the renegade option(or it would help Cerberus)?
[sp]shit, if i remember correctly I assigned Tali as the tech specialist, samara as the first fireteam leader, then thane as the 2nd FTL, and Jacob escorted the crew to the ship. I forget what I assigned Jack as but she somehow died. (Also, at one part in the game her and Miranda had a bitch-off and I chose Miranda's side and Jack was like whatever for the rest of the game)[/sp]
I wonder what Krogan music sounds like.
I'd imagine there's lots of drums.
[sp]You didn't have Jacks Loyalty, thus she died. Tali is good as a tech specialist but Samara is not a good fire Team Leader. Replace her with Garrus, Miranda or Jacob. Again Garrus, Miranda or Jacob as the second fire team leader for some reason. Send Mordin to excort the crew as he has a high likelyhood of dying if left at the barrier. Jack should survive if you have her loyalty. Also for the Biotic specialist, Samara or Jack are the only ones who can do it.[/sp]

Like what dev said, best choices: Tech: Tali, Legion, Kasumi FTL 1: Garrus, Jacob, Miranda(Samara is a one woman army, but never led anyone before, and the blue suns person had everyone in his squad die, Miranda somehow is good) Biotic: Jack, Morinth, Samara FTL 2: Same Escort to Normandy: Mordin Final fight: Kasumi, Tali, anyone who is weak at defending.
One of those should work.
Also note that the people you take to the final fight are a simple loyalty check. If you have their loyalty, they live. If you don't, they die.
If Mordin's on the last stand thing, and not sent with the team or in your squad he'll die.
Right. If you send an unloyal Miranda to the final fight,[sp] she still resigns from Cerberus if you blow the base up, but will die.[/sp] However, Miranda is a good FTL 2 and will live even if she is unloyal(plot armor).
12/09/2010 - Lead Biologist on Ekram Suggests Uplifting Kirik “Dr. Andile Ndiaye released this controversial press statement earlier today about his work with the biotic and possibly intelligent kirik on Ekram: "At first our communication with the colony was basic -- me, you, food, not-food -- but the more our biotics 'talk' to them, the faster they learn. We suspect their complex social structure puts their learning ability on par with that of dolphins. 'Uplift' has become a dirty word, but the kirik are perfect candidates." Seconds after his speech, the extranet exploded in a furious debate over Dr. Ndiaye's proposal. The Citadel Council has sent several ships to monitor traffic to and from Ekram as it decides whether or not to permit the research team to remain on the planet.”
I don't think that they will be in ME3 anymore, probably victims of the Council's homicidal policies like the Ghosts/Sygans. Well the Sygans did survive, but if it wasn't for the tech...
[img_thumb]http://i51.tinypic.com/24v7fjs.jpg[/img_thumb] Since the festive season is almost upon us, I thought it might be a nice idea to send out some specially themed Christmas cards for a select few Mass Effect fans. There will be five cards up for grabs and they each uniquely feature a different squad member, but the twist is that I won't be telling you which ones I've chosen until after the competition has finished and you won't know who will be receiving which card until they are delivered. To be in with a chance of winning, just PM me your answers to the following questions: Who is your most favourite squad member? (This may or may not be a deciding factor in which card you get so choose wisely.) Who is your least favourite squad member? (This may or may not be a deciding factor in which card you get so choose wisely.) Why do you think you should be the recipient of an awesome Mass Effect card? The deadline for this competition is Tuesday 14th December at 11pm GMT with the cards hopefully being finished and sent out the following day so they arrive in time for Christmas. Please remember to PM me your answers so that I can easily find it, although feel free to post it in the thread as well if you like. Only one entry per user and entries cannot be changed once I have received them. Good luck, everyone!
Pascall incoming. [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] Weekendwarrior that's your line.
What about the Rachni? I know Bioware has a plan to use them in ME3, that is if you saved the Queen in ME1.
What about the Rachni? I know Bioware has a plan to use them in ME3, that is if you saved the Queen in ME1.
The ingame news talks about possible sightings of Rachni ship, I think that if you saved the Queen, Then she might help against the Reapers in ME3
The Rachni ship sightings could have just as well been the Collector vessel. [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] Unless I remember everything terribly wrong, like I tend to do
Well, they say the plans reminded of old Rachni ships from the Rachni Wars
New screenshot from the yet to be announced Bioware game. Thoughts ? [sp]Hint: Take a closer look at the fence and compare it with the one from the trailer.[/sp]
That fence looks not THAT futuristicish, though who knows. Still thinking it's definitely Mass Effect.
Well, if you take a close look at the short teaser, you'll also notice a similar fence. Also:
The US source that leaked the image to CVG told us: "I won't spoil it for everyone by telling you what the game is. But it's going to have a lot of hardcore BioWare fans jumping out of their seats."
It's probably a sequel/prequel to an already existing franchise. EDIT: More forum rumors: 1) The clothing both of the civilians are wearing looks futuristic. 2) The crosshair is identical to the one from ME2 3) The fence may be another connection to London. To be honest, it's obvious that it's a shot from the trailer, and it's what the sniper was aiming at.
I have a feeling it's not Mass Effect then, maybe Shattered Steel? I never played the old Biowares, except Baldur's gate, Neverwinter nights. (Yeah haven't really played KOTOR :saddowns:) Though the timing still does sway into Mass Effect 3/spinoff.

I just want ME3 :frown:
The Rachni ship sightings could have just as well been the Collector vessel. So much points to Mass Effect but wasn't one of the codes a red herring I'm actually cool with waiting a while for ME3 so its perfect but any spin off/expansion for ME2 sounds cool or something completely different, getting annoyingly interested though silly marketing working
This one is from me: EDIT: Yup, the fence is from the courtyard of the House of Parliament.

[sp]Hint: Take a closer look at the fence and compare it with the one from the trailer.[/sp]
What makes me stop from believing it's Mass Effect related is the great amount of detail spent on things like the debris and scenery in the cinematic movies. It's a slight break with the usual cutscenes from ME series. Don't get me wrong, they are great, but this looks extremely detailed. No doubts it's set in future though. Probably the crosshair is just the way it is because they recycled some textures. Normally you don't acquire always new content as company. Just take the HL2 series for example, mostly improved shaders, same textures though.

Or some sort of prequel and not an MP game.
Cinematics and cutscenes are made by different people. Like that it has insane debris in Grunt's section.
My money is on a Mass Effect spin-off. Recycling textures isn't EA's PR style. EDIT: Nah, since the attack is on Earth, it's definitely not a prequel. Except if it's featuring the power struggles before First Contact.

Sure I'd like it to be a ME related game, but I won't get myself to hyped before I know what it actually is.
