I was amused by the fact that Kaidan has some shitty old-gen implants that can make him go insane, at least Dr Chakwas told me something like that. Tried to imagine how a Kaidan rage would look like.

Quick question; is everyone spoiled by the much better characters in ME2 causing them to dislike the not so good ones in ME1 or does everyone actually not like them regardless? Personally I didn't like Kaidan much but Ashley wasn't that bad.

I like the old characters, but sometimes they seemed a bit flat, most of their personality was revealed by messages or small dialogue bits. I blame the lack of loyalty missions, that's why I prefer the new ones over most them. At least Garrus was all right.
Ashley was okay, Liara was fine, but yeah I agree.

That, or a Mass Effect game where part of the backstory for your character is their race, so there'd be things like Turian facial editor etc. That would be awesome.
