I reckon they will go on the statistics of who had their companions die to decide who will survive and play a larger part in ME3. People like Jack who no-one remembers to get the upgrades for will likely die. Mordin is likely to not play much of a role from being an easy target at the barrier also. Other ones like Garrus who have a low chance of dying will probably play a large role.
I hope not. I don't want some of my favorite characters to be phased out just because they're not as popular. I hope bioware introduces some new characters that play a big role (along with ashley/kaiden/liara, since that's the whole reason bioware made them un-recruitable) and let you keep the guys from ME2. That'd be neat.
Mass Erections 3: Boners For Garrus Save The Earth
We have reached a consensus: If we were organic beings, our pants would be soaked in ejaculate.
god I'm so PANT PISSINGLY EXCITED
Mass Erections 3: Boners For Garrus Save The Earth
Expansion Pack: Calibrate Dat Ass.
Given that the all important finale to their space epic will be released little under 2 years after the release of ME2, and given that it's running on the same engine as ME2, you can bet your quads that ME3 has been in development for a LOT LONGER than you think it has been. It was probably being worked on ALONGSIDE ME2 from the very beginning. Chances are they've slowly and surely being building up all of the different options (where this team mate is alive, and so is this one, but not another one, or some other combination, etc) so that ME3 plays differently every single time.
I'm going to assume now Earth born has a much larger affect in ME3 than in the previous titles?

That'd be a whole fucking lot.
Looks a lot different to ME1 or even ME2 [editline]12th December 2010[/editline] I really hope the game looks nothing like that style [editline]12th December 2010[/editline] I really hope the game looks nothing like that style
I feel like I could do a Krogan voice over, I scared the shit out of my friend on their ventrilo when I said their name. They asked if it was a voice effect or a recording v:v:v
Fuck yeah ME3 Shit, Christmas? Fuck, I'll be at the Army then :smithicide:
I know right. I'm supposed to be deployed then... GOD DAMN TALIBAN.
I can see people making saves of each companion death combination. That'd be a whole fucking lot.
Oh shit yeah. I mean ignoring Zaeed and Kasumi you have 11 companions in ME2 alone. 11 could live. 10 could live. 9 could live. 8 could live. So on and so forth. And of those 'x' who live it could be a combination of any of them. Then you've got to take those combinations into account with the character from ME1 who died (Ashley/Kaidan), and then whether or not Wrex died. You've got literally THOUSANDS of combinations, but thankfully each person who lives seems independent of each other person for the most part. Like most NPCs don't seem to bring up other NPCs who are companions in conversations.

Mass Effect 3. :gizz:
My balls exploded
So what are your guys opinions on the Mass Effect 3 teaser? I also wtf'd at the armor that dude wore, he looked like he might of accidentally cross-overed from Halo.
I'm really hoping that Earth isn't the main plot. But hopefully it's just the beginning, like Shepard becoming a Spectre in ME1.
Yea.

My guess is we're going to try to get as many people off Earth so we can blow the sun up and annihilate all the reapers
I'm going to hop into my human reaper and kill everyone myself..
My guess is we're going to try to get as many people off Earth so we can blow the sun up and annihilate all the reapers
Renegade Shep sacrifices people?
I haven't been this excited for a game in a while.
