I thought that, too, until I looked at the background. It's all futuristic.
I'm guessing they left all the important cultural landmarks as is.

Well London's current architecture around the Thames has pretty much been the same for hundreds of years anyway. Mass Effect only takes place like 170 years from now. It's conceivable to think that the same historic architecture would remain.
Look in the background. There is some huge futuristic sky scraper in London in the future.
I just want to "air-quote" my fist into the Turian Councilor's face.
Try and motion this disaster away, jackass.
Just imagine, however, if some of the decisions you made in the other games really bit you in the ass in ME3. Killing the rachni, the Council, Wrex, etc. You'd pretty much have no fucking allies against this.
Shepard against the goddamn galaxy. I'm considering playing through both games again to see if it's possible when the time comes.
Hooooray!
I want a Joker romance with male Shepherd in ME3

I do not share the hype of everyone else, I want to discuss things. :saddowns:
Am I the only one who after watching trailer with Reapers immediately thought "Ah yes reapers"?
I'm eager to see how the game plays out and how long it takes place after ME2. I hope the trailers don't spoil too much of the game. I heard that the ME2 trailers spoiled too much and told you Shepherd dies
The main Mass Effect 2 trailer showed the end of the game... It is really an awesome trailer though...
Can't wait to show the council of the attacks on Earth. Or if the turian homeworld gets attacked, this is what I will say(if its the Reapers attacking it):
[sp]"Ah yes, reapers, you were right, they don't exist."[/sp]
It would be funny if the councilor said that I was right, and how sorry he is. If they attack the Asari homeworld, I would help tevos(asari councilor) because she seemed to be the most liked councilor.
Also, I don't want multiplayer in ME3, co-op or deathmatch. A deathmatch multiplayer can happen in spin-offs, like a Mass Effect game about the First Contact War.
MP would be too easy with the powers and all. Just knock down a guys shield then fling him into the wall and unload on him as he tries to get up

Same
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
mainly how it looked more like a call of duty trailer than an ME one
I hope they will stop making it "less RPG more shooter" with every new game.
Didn't Bioware recently hire a bunch of people with experience in military based games? Would explain the grittier/darker war zone look and feel.
Added some basic ME3 information to the OP.
You might want to add this.
I don't care how expensive the major collectors edition is, I'm getting it.
Probably a model Normandy or Reaper more than likely, calling it now.
Fuck, I get them on Steam so I probably won't be getting a special item.

A model of the Normandy would kick ass.
Reaper model built to scale.
Fully functional, available to everyone who buys the collectors edition.
And that's how the Reapers were created.
And they are all shipped from London.
You know what I want to come back?
Weapon mods. I loved having a pistol that shot poisonous rounds at guys.
Just remembered that I ordered a Commander Shepard figure 2 months ago and it never showed up :saddowns:

That was great, it was lame they replaced with ammo types.
I am honestly kind of worried about the whole "Earth being attacked" thing being the ending to the Shepard story arc. It wouldn't be the worst ending they could do, but it's still kind of underwhelming since ME2 seemed to be building up to the Reapers attempting to wipe out every form of life in the galaxy. As opposed to just Earth.
I might be pessimistic about ME3 for a while, since I always get paranoid about these kinds of series. And I'd rather be pleasantly surprised by a good game than severely disappointed by a bad game. So on that note: Was it really necessary to make even the Incisor gray?
