Do they even have badges?
Spectres don't have a badge, but the Systems Alliance does.

The Special Recon Office or whatever the Spectre Agency is called does have a logo:

That was my favorite reveal trailer on the Citadel.
Also new avatar.

After playing LotSB, it annoyed me that there wasn't a version of the Asymmetric Defense Layer that had the SPECTRE logo on it.
Yay, my Confirmed Features thread got stickied!

I just fucking jizzed my god damn pants holy shit
Who else hopes Earth gets assraped at the start of the game so it can move to a grander scale after an hour or two? I don't even care about that shithole in the ME universe.
I wouldn't mind that, honestly.
They need to make this "episode" longer though. Maybe the length of Mass Effect 1's main quest and all the side missions combined? That is for ME3 main, of cource.

Well, about 7 million dead people in the first week isn't much for a superior ancient machine race. I would have expected they just blow us up with radiation bombs to pollute our planet. Makes still no sense for me, are they harvesting species or just killing them or do they switch occasionally?

They see humans as the best candidate for an Army, atleast that's what I get out of it.
Reapers don't seem very intimidating right now.

It was 7 million dead, but it didn't specify the scope. It's either 7 million dead in Britain (doubt it) or 7 million dead in London (sounds more likely).
Also, they seem to select a good species for harvesting and then use that. Others during this cycle were deemed worthless (as heard in the Harbinger voice files), but humans were apparently a good choice.

Yeah, I expected super-weaponry: Something like an ACTUAL star-destroyed.
Before the geth revolt 300 years ago, the quarians colonized Haestrom to study the mysterious instability of its sun, which threatened premature eruption into a red giant.
Who cares what they do to Earth, if they would directly head for our sun to destabilize it, so our whole Solar system gets destroyed.
I guess my fantasy got carried away, the plotwriters are good, but they drop too many ideas that would be worth to be continued.

That would actually make it sound better if the chap means London.

I don't like they never used Prothean husks, guess they think human ones are more intimidating, but I rather consider them a nuisance rather than a real threat. Spamming enemies simply annoys me.
And then Conrad Verner cockslaps Harbinger in the face.
I wonder if Geth will fight for you if you reprogrammed them on Legion's Loyalty mission.
I wonder if Geth will fight for you if you reprogrammed them on Legion's Loyalty mission.
Probably. I also think the krogan will help you if Wrex is alive, The quarians if Tali wasn't exiled, and so on.
By the way, was there any comment or statement from BioWare on Conrad Verner, more specifically the fact that the importing facility does not correctly import the way you dealt with him in Mass Effect 1?

He meant 7 million dead in London. They're attacking all around Earth, I'd estimate at least 100 million - 1 billion dead
Yep, Zezibesh already explained it to me.

There actually is no imported thing for that, unless he gets killed. Even if you force the tag in an editor he only has the renegade one.
I wonder how they will allow new players to join the plot this time instead of resurrecting Shepard once again. I smell profile corruption & reconstruction.
[editline]12th December 2010[/editline]
Damn automerge breakers.
And they better show Admiral Hackett.

I still think Shepard is captured by the Alliance in the beginning of the game, and the beginning/tutorial is Shepard trying to escape the station he's detained in over Earth while it's attacked by the Reapers.
I hope you get that british guy in the trailer as a squadmember because I could use a british voice in my team!
Oh shit yeah. I mean ignoring Zaeed and Kasumi you have 11 companions in ME2 alone. 11 could live. 10 could live. 9 could live. 8 could live. So on and so forth. And of those 'x' who live it could be a combination of any of them.
Then you've got to take those combinations into account with the character from ME1 who died (Ashley/Kaidan), and then whether or not Wrex died.
You've got literally THOUSANDS of combinations, but thankfully each person who lives seems independent of each other person for the most part. Like most NPCs don't seem to bring up other NPCs who are companions in conversations.
That's 1980 or like 1981 combinations, not counting Zaeed and Kasumi.
Counting zaeed and kasumi makes it 2904 or 2905. I did count Ashley dies/Kaidan dies and also if wrex is spared or not. Also, 2904 = Not counting everyone survives at end of me2 and 2905 is counting it in.
Gonna be one hell of a game with all those combinations, only counting stuff that happened with your squad. Think of stuff like rachni killed / not! There is so much in the ME universe...
I like how the architecture in London doesn't even change, at all. Hell, there isn't a future ferris wheel.
Expansion happened pretty fast in the ME universe for humans. Building don't change in older settings in real life, it's the same there. The technology exists, just not as much visibly in old cities.
People like the old stuff I guess. Easier to not tear it down if you don't have to.
