I still think Shepard is captured by the Alliance in the beginning of the game, and the beginning/tutorial is Shepard trying to escape the station he's detained in over Earth while it's attacked by the Reapers.
For what reason exactly? They just can't run in a spectre, even if he/she is in one of their military forces.

Dossiers from the Shadow Broker have shown that the Alliance is trying to hunt down and detain Shepard, specifically for working with Cerberus, the only thing keeping that from happening is Admiral Hackett.
And the fact that he has saved humanity/"alienanity" basically twice should let him off.
"So, there's this guy who saved the whole galaxy twice from a race of godlike genocidal sentient starships, but he has a history with Cerberus, because they were the only ones taking action."

Now it makes sense for me again, I keep forgetting that saving human colonies is a crime now, Sheprd never was a tool of Cerberus.
Unless the "Reapers fuck over Earth lolololol" part happens late game. We're not gonna get a sweet hub-world (Citadel in ME1, bunch of places in ME2) to relax in. :saddowns: I enjoyed the hub-worlds.
Yeah exactly, I am sure as hell not getting Mass Effect 3 if the whole game turns out to be just a rush to get rid off the Reapers. I want places to go and chill at and maybe the last 1-2 missions can be the rush to save the galaxy.

The Alliance, apart from Hackett and Anderson, believe Sovereign to have been a Geth Battleship, not a Reaper.
They also refused to believe, again apart from Anderson and Hackett, the Collectors to be behind the colony disappearances.

The Alliance believed Cerberus was partially responsible for the disappearances.
Yeah, I expected super-weaponry: Something like an ACTUAL star-destroyed.
The ME universe DOES have superweapons. The Mass Relays. They launch objects to speeds hundreds of times the speed of light. Without the decelerating relay at the other end, the projective would go on until it hit something.
A grain of sand going at a couple times the speed of light has enough kinetic energy to destroy Earth. How about a nice big tungsten-ferrous slug specifically meant for gutting solar systems?
Only thing preventing them from being used is that no one really knows how to operate them except the Reapers.

Duhhhh, once in a while this is exactly the plot of every crime series for some episode: Good guys gets accused of doing bad things and get cleared of all charges after all anyway.
I want to bromance Illusive Man so badly. I hope that he doesn't unconditionally become a villain or anything.
dude
we finally get to see earth
and we get to kill REAPERS
SHIT YEAH

Yeah Isaac Newton will fuck you up in space alright.

Why the fuck would a human-centric group want to kidnap humans?
And for everyone bitching about London looking all old and shit, there are some futuristic skyscrapers in the background, behind the Millennium Wheel.

Nah, it would vaporize in the upper atmosphere.
And yeah, you're pretty much right about the W-Fe-Slugs, but I prefer:
The Thanix Magnetic-Hydrodynamic Weapon is a turian-developed, miniaturized version of the weapon used by Sovereign during its attack on the Citadel. It uses an electromagnetic field to shape and accelerate a stream of superheated molten metal to relativistic velocities, which then impacts its target and deals horrendous damage. The weapons fire appears as a bright blue beam, very similar to the deadly red trails seen firing from the tips of Sovereign's 'arms' during the Battle of the Citadel. In combat, the Thanix Cannon is strong enough to destroy a Collector cruiser in two shots.
Need to watch the video again to see how strong these 'tentacle' cannons of Sovereign actually were.

Yet people forget the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty being really old as well, but no one bitches about that.

A single round is enough to rip an Alliance cruiser at full shield strength in half.
Wider selection of party-members. Everyone from ME1 and ME2 + new ones. Probably won't happen but what the hell, it's a wish.
Punching the reporter, again. "So, Shepard, how does it feel to have saved the galaxy from the brink of destruction?"
"I don't have time for your inexcusable questions *punch*"
Shorter loading-times, no need for 2 DVDs, more customization, I'd like to be able to customize the body or bodies of my comrades too. Imagine a fat midget Garrus with a Hulk-ish Mordin.

It's impossible to "blind fire" a Mass Relay, each one is designed to create a tunnel of massless space between pre-set relays.
Shaddow Brooker told me that the only way to defeat the Reapers is to beat them in conversation.

I don´t care that much about more then one DVD. I would love if mass effect came on 10 Dvd´s. Preferably the game would sit on 9 and the last would be for interviews with the Bioware team, Concept art and so on
I just never liked having to switch CDs/DVDs to watch a movie/show or play a game.
Too much speculations, I would rather have more DLCs, especially one that would allow you to get Kaidan or Ash back. Bridging the gap they said, now they only care for DA2 and ME3. I'm looking forward to both games, but come on, just hire more devs.

Get the PC version and then not be able to use my saves? Okay sure, pay for ME1 and ME2 for me and I'll do it!

dude relative to console games PC games are fucking cheap you cheapskate
Remember the good old days when multiple disks was considered a good thing? "Oh god, 2 disks, this game must be huge!" And these days it's "Oh man, 2 disks? Now I have to get up and change them in 9 hours. Lazy devs couldn't fit it all on one disk."
Get the PC version and then not be able to use my saves? Okay sure, pay for ME1 and ME2 for me and I'll do it!
So you would prefer a smaller game that fits on one disc than a huge game that needs 2?
dude relative to console games PC games are fucking cheap you cheapskate
I'm just not the type that buys the same game twice unless I really really have too.

Yeah compress all the textures so they look like shit and maybe it will fit on one disc... or wait for a new console generation with better optical drives... or play on PC and never switch. Nevermind, it just is that way and we can't really change it.
Alright know what, sorry for voicing my opinion on games that need 2 disks or more. I will never ever complain about inconvenient things.
