I imagine there'll be a few new squadmates, plus Liara and Kaiden/Ashley. Plus some (though probably not all) of the ME2 squadmates will return, and if they died, well too bad, that's less squadmates for you. At least I hope thats how it goes down. I also hope we get Wrex, though that seems unlikely.

This means we will definitely see characters who survived. I wonder what they will do about new party members and old ones though.

Thane has his illness, Mordin was real old, Zaeed was paid for the suicide mission so may not stick around, etc.
