I'd say reduce the genophage's effects if possible. Maybe make it one in 100 instead of one in a thousand. But curing it completely, they'll just fuck everyone up.

They only ever compare the current Krogan birth rates to previous ones, which isn't a good comparison. If the average Krogan female used to birth 1000 infants in one gestation cycle, that's still largely equal to most other races.

Nothing will have changed from what they are now, they just have a better population growth. I was also thinking more along the lines of 1 in 750 to give decent growth. Not letting them grow as they please, just a better rate than they were before so they don't feel like they are sterile.
