I thought the shadow broker was a fat salarian when I first saw his sillhoette. I liked fighting him but the fight was too easy and not cinematic. I was hoping punching him would be cooler like the last fight in MGS4
Liara.
For firepower/combat Kasumi is completely fucking broken and they haven't bothered to balance her. Max her two unique powers and then sit back and eat popcorn. Ridiculous. There's literally only two enemies she can't one shot in the game even on Insanity. Redonkulous.
I'll weep manly tears of sadness if Bioware does not have Zaeed at least make a cameo in Mass Effect 3.
Here's hope that ME3 doesn't have a streamlined generic boss fight (two games are enough). Another thing. I was playing ME1 and I couldn't help but noticing that Saren is one of the few turian biotics. Didn't seem relevant at the time but fast-forwarding to ME2, there's a lot of talk about dark energy and effects on stars. 'Dark energy is manipulated using the extremely rare material element zero.' And a quick look in the element zero page gives this: When humans discovered the Prothean ruins on Mars, they also discovered refined element zero that the Protheans had left behind. If the Protheans had element zero, then other civilizations probably had it as well, that means, for some extent, that element zero technology [sp]is also Reaper technology[/sp]. And that why Saren was a biotic (doesn't need explaining now, does it?).
All weapons were designed by this current generation of aliens so at most, they made use of eezo just as the Reapers did. Mass Effect engines seem to have been mostly built off Prothean models but that's not saying they couldn't have made it themselves as the principle is pretty basic. The Reapers make use of steel in their ships just as humans and other races do, that doesn't mean that steel is reaper tech. It's a naturally occuring substance and just because it's used in similar ways, doesn't mean that they are responsible for it. Saren wasn't a Biotic early on and it was only after [sp]Sovereign upgraded him and gave him implants[/sp] that he became one. They have the ability to manipulate individuals and give them biotic implants, big whoop. They did a lot of shit to him and completely replaced his arm, it's the future and Reapers are even more futuristic than the future.
Skipping all of this dark energy and weaponry discussion, Jacob was okay to me because, while he was a flat static character, he was still moderately interesting. The guy discovered his father was a deadbeat and vowed to be better than him after his loyalty mission. The fact he didn't lose control and yell at his father made me like him even more. He seems very ideological for a man in Cerberus, which really surprised me.

I am the very model of a scientist Salarian! I've studied species, Turian, Asari, and Batarian. I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology), because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology). My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian - I am the very model of a scientist Salarian! yes

there are no tanks in the future, which saddens me
[img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/795b16e0b33010d438d89746cd3bb255.png[/img_thumb]
:smug:
can some one answer my questions plz. do you continue a relationship with liara and does she stay on your crew afterwards? and how does [sp] zaeed die in his loyalty mission [/sp]
your relationship with Liara does continue but she does not stay. Zaeed does not die in his loyalty mission. why dont you think about it for a second
there are no tanks in the future, which saddens me
Well Mako [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] That's more of an APC though, still, closest to a tank as it packs a hell of a punch and can take loads of damage. Tanks wouldn't be viable to drop on planets.
Eh, shame about the face
your relationship with Liara does continue but she does not stay.
