Shame that's the SSV Normandy (I) Ignoring that though, excellent image cheers!
Looks like a combination of SSV Normandy SR-1 and SR-2.
Watching these trailers rekindled all my excitement for Mass Effect 3, what an amazing game series. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOGkiHZeu6A[/hd] [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5DL6jFXfhM[/hd]
The Mass Effect launch trailer looks like total shit compared to the Mass Effect 2 trailer.
The Mass Effect launch trailer looks like total shit compared to the Mass Effect 2 trailer.
Yeah, ME2's graphics are a lot more polished and its cinematics much better (courtesy of tht guy from Lit Fuse Films, I would assume). Still, ME1 trailers are awesome, I can't help but smile whenever saren says 'I can't let you disrupt what I've accomplished here' and when Sovereign says 'I am the vanguard of your destruction''. They're just such awesome lines, delivered so perfectly. [editline]5th November 2010[/editline] Oh yeah, and that ME2 trailer is the only one that's good (and it is admittedly very, very good). All the character reveal trailers fucking sucked, they were so cheesy. The class videos were good but they were more showcases than trailers.
The Mass effect 2 launch trailer still sends shivers down my spine!
There's one thing I hate about ME1. Its FPS and the amount of texture pop-in. Oh god the pop-in
My ME Universe based story will be amazing. 5 bux it gains no popularity if I ever do finish (or start!) because Tali will only be mentioned maybe once, along with Shepard.
There's one thing I hate about ME1. Its FPS and the amount of texture pop-in. Oh god the pop-in
It's the UE3 engine, it's always had horrible texture pop-in. Same with CryEngine 2.
Film grainnnnn
Despite all of the texture pops and horrible facial expressions, the original Mass Effect still holds a certain charm to it.
Am I the only one that hated how you could get out of any jam by using the charm or intimidate conversation options?
Am I the only one that hated how you could get out of any jam by using the charm or intimidate conversation options?
I think Mass Effect 2 had lots of little things like this that were fine when you played but in hindsight make the game feel a bit weaker than 1 where you had to sacrifice other skills to be a good speaker.
noticed a glitch on archangel mission with zaeed left with garrus. he says "taking heavy fire up here, just hurry up and get those damn shutters open!" open not closed
Am I the only one that hated how you could get out of any jam by using the charm or intimidate conversation options?
i love jam. its so good on bread.
i love jam. its so good on bread.
Medi-jam.
Despite all of the texture pops and horrible facial expressions, the original Mass Effect still holds a certain charm to it.
I am finished my consersation to you so I will awkwardly exit to the left.
Everybody still exits left, even in Mass Effect 2. Your point?
Time to exit left
Everybody still exits left, even in Mass Effect 2. Your point?
It's not nearly as bad as ME, almost everyone just stopped talking and walked off screen to the left. ME2 at least mixes it up a bit and less people just walked off.
Jam.
Shepaaaard! What the heeeeeeell!?
I just hope ME3 isn't as "streamlined" as ME2 and has more of a focus on the main storyline rather than characters. Hell, they put so much time of ME2's story into the characters that they may as well only add like 3 or so new characters to ME3. That or make the game like 50 hours long.
ME3 better be an epic as fuck conclusion. I hope it's longer than the previous two combined
So, I finished both Mass Effect 1 and 2 a week ago, and I'd like to share my experience with them. [sp]In the first game, I chose to play as an adept, that I found a pretty fun class. Unfortunely, Wrex was killed by Ashley, who later also died. No regrets, she was a bitch and wasn't that useful in combat for me. Other things that deserve being mentioned? Punched the reporter just like pretty much everyone else, fucked Liara and let the council die. On Mass Effect 2, I went with the vanguard class, since I fell in love with the charge ability the first I saw it. Luckily, my Shepard survived, just like everyone else and punched the reporter once again. By the way, I romanced Tali this time around. Will try a second playthrough with female Shepard, but my main objective will be to fuck Garrus(hey, why not?).[/sp] Truly great games.
Damn straight you should.
Oh, and any suggestions for what class I should use in the second playthrough?
There's nothing quite as liberating as playing an excessively racist and xenophobic space marine.

[sp]On my first run, I saved Wrex, sacrificed Kaidan for Ashley, and managed to get Saren to kill himself. Good times, good times.[/sp] [editline]5th November 2010[/editline] [sp]And then I started a New Game+ and managed to max out whatever else I could max out. My most recent playthrough as a femshep I am very pleased with. Hit Level 54 before completing the game on a brand new character. It took me two playthroughs on my maleshep to hit that Level.[/sp]
