I wish the shepherd origins mattered in ME2. it would be cool if batarians recognized you as the Butcher of Torfan or the guy who singlehandedly held off pirates and slavers at Elysium and fucked up their whole plans (despite being planned by a human)
Has there ever been any class-specific dialogue?
There is a reference to Akuze in Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Kaidan's dialogue changes slightly if you're an adept in ME1. But it's only one phrase that's changed.
Oh hey, it's my old avatar again :buddy:
nice to see someone's using it

That's why I hate Ashley and Kaidan as romance options in ME1. Their dialouges are freaking carbon copies, hell, at least they should have made him accept the threesome offer!
What the fuck is "gumbo" anyway?
Slightly-rotten-fish stew. :barf:
I love the one where you drive around on a jagged barren rock and go into a couple of buildings with the exact same interior and fight the exact same enemies just to be given a paragraph long piece of text before heading back to the Normandy.
Wait.

Really? Because I prefer the one in Mass Effect 2 where you drop down onto a planet and shoot a bunch of dudes on a linear path. That one was awesome.
Maybe in ME3 we can have both

The biotic hostage mission also changes slighty I believe? Changes again if you're a biotic AND take Kaiden.
Shame that's the only change based on class (beyond abilities).
It's delicious, that's what. Thick hearty stock, meat/shrimp, rice, and the "holy trinity" as the South calls it (specifically, celery, bell peppers, and onions.)
If there's one thing The South can do right, it's make delicious food, I highly recommend trying it at least once.
Damn straight we can. If you're ever depressed, fly down here and order some meatpies/gumbo from a restaurant.
Thought mass effect was dumb at first.
Played through both 1 and 2 and I'm fucking awestruck. I love this series now.
I want to play through ME and ME2 again but I want to wait a while so I don't get bored at how familiar everything is
I never realized how short Mass Effect 2 was until just recently. I'm already at Horizon and I'm only like 10 or so hours into the game. I remember the first time I played it it seemed to be a lot longer than that.
Mass Effect 2 didn't really have anything going on to advance the Reaper threat part of the plot, most of the story was poured into the various characters.
Case in point: Compare how long it takes to complete every loyalty mission and get everybody on the team as opposed to beating the game.
Interesting thought, Shepard pretty much has to be a biotic in the canon no matter what you do. Soldiers can still have a biotic ability, and the same for every other class. Now why don't they capitalize on this... or at least make biotic classes have some extra options making use of biotic prowess...

I'm not really sure, all I know is that you're one pimpin Quarian.
I hope they don't reveal too much about the Illusive Man in Mass Effect 3. If you know too much, you find it less interesting. I prefer keeping him as an enigmatic gentleman with trippy eyes that lives inside a wallpaper.

Yeah, the loyalty missions are pretty much the meat of the game. I found it strange though how they introduced then annihilated a whole new enemy in one game, and didn't advance the reaper arc one bit.

That's the main problem with the second part of a trilogy, it can't advance the plot that far and it still has to be compelling. I think BioWare did fine

Already a comic coming out about him.
He has lightning eyes or something.

Now why can't Shepard have some badass lightning eyes, or biotic ones?
While I hate that fucker, I have to admit that the comic may show some badass moments.

I hope they still leave or create some questions about him. Also, what do you mean by lightning eyes? He shoots fucking lightning out of his eyeballs?

If Shepard becomes renegade enough he should be able to shoot laser beams out of his Reaper eyes.

I think when DOTA 2.0 comes out I'm gonna make a Mass Effect mod for it, including all the great wars and battles that we never see in-game.
I'm guessing that's why he has those cybernetic eyes. He got zapped, and it burned his eyes out.
Notice that he dosn't look too calm or in control in that pic.
As much as I'm going to hate it, I'm not going to view any Mass Effect 3 media until I beat the game. I don't want any part of the game spoiled

I won't be able to play the game, what with my PC sucking, so :munch:
And no, I probably will not get a new one anytime soon. My parents aren't willing to spend the money, and I don't have the money.
