I have 4 playthroughs as well, now I only wait for more DLC to be released.

When I get some money, I'll buy Kasumi and LotSB. And download Zaeed from Cerberus Network

I noticed it on my first play through when I just accidentally bumped into a "wall" that turned out to be a door to the bathroom and it made me jump too!

Yeah, it's the 'ninja bathroom'. Anyway, in ME2, we find out that the Collectors are examining the genetic structure of humans. I assume that they did it in order to determine whether humans are suitable for Reaper goo or not. What I don't get is why they conducted genetic experiments on themselves. Aren't they supposed to be indoctrinated at all times ?

The Collectors themselves were not indoctrinated, per se. The Collector General was more of the vanguard of their control as he was being directly controlled by Harbinger. Adding him to your squad will drastically increase your chances of survivial.

Our assault upon the tali forms is nearly amassed. we need more whirlwinds and Terminators if we are to survive the Heavy tali fans. and we need assistance form the 101st sub thread if we are to protect our forward encampments. our assault on the first forums will comence shortly good luck brothers

But shouldn't they be like pissed off by the Reapers ? Btw, I think that the unexplored Citadel core will play a role in ME3.

[/QUOTE] Collectors are mindless husks, Mordin even tells you that, they're far from individually intelligent. Both Collectors and Keepers don't "do and act as they please until they're told to do something" they're worked like machines. Both the Keepers and Collectors lack culture, music, art, everything that another race (even the Vorcha) have.

With the possible exception of the General.
