It also has a sane and normal fan base.
No it doesn't.
And most players are above 12.
and mass effect players are usually acostomed to sunlight
and mass effect players are usually acostomed to sunlight
I don't really believe that.
It also has a sane and normal fan base.
(if we ignore the tali fanbase)
I think you guys are getting MW2 mixed up with WoW.
But in all seriousness, I try not to give in to gamer stereotypes.
I should make a 'mining' playlist, for when I mine planets. Yes, it will have 'Those Minerals' in it.

Someone needs to make a small mod that has this play whenever you begin to scan planets.
Sovereign's voice freaks me out.
Sovereign is the best reaper currently.
[sp]YOU EXIST BECAUSE WE ALLOW IT, AND YOU WILL END BECAUSE WE DEMAND IT. I AM THE VANGUARD OF YOUR DESTRUCTION, THIS EXCHANGE IS OVER.[/sp]
Although, we should be able to fight a Prothean reaper in ME3, that or a fully-formed Human Reaper.
They already said that [sp]they couldn't make a prothean reaper, so they made the collectors instead[/sp]
Sovereign was so awesome that first conversation with him was chilling, the only interesting speech from Harbinger came at the end of ME2 (Needed more fleshed out villains in my opinion seeing as the best one is in DLC)
They already said that [sp]they couldn't make a prothean reaper, so they made the collectors instead[/sp]
Remind me why they couldn't.
Remind me why they couldn't.
They just couldn't, maybe the Protheans had freaky genetics.
They just couldn't, maybe the Protheans had freaky genetics.
They had that weird DNA you find out when aboard the collector ship, quad something.
Probe highly populated planets...
Just in case.
If only we could orbitally bombard planets in mass effect
are we still talking about mass effect or space marine invasions of tali forums.
if so why havent you readied your flamers and came to regestration, how else are we to purge the raptor foot fetish mongrels from our clean planets and society in the name of thy emperor
c'mon guys it a tight time table we've got here
For The Emperor!
Producing geth is expensive too, that's why they used the husks as their front line.
Also, krogan, so gangsta.
Krogans, there always so damn gangsta
I agree they should've at least fleshed out Harbinger more, but I guess his role is kind of a taster for ME3's version of him.
I don't really believe that.
It depends. Does the orange light originated from the virtual interfaces aboard the Normandy count as 'sun light' ?
:v:
mass effect needs more heavy tanks and other main battle vehicles, like these

I always make sure Tali dies by the end.
V:v:V
but really, I hate her so much.
Although I agree on more tanks that post was somewhat excessive
Why do they need to have tanks? It's 2183. That's like asking why we don't have cooler stagecoaches today.
Come to think of it, why does everybody still use SMGs, Sniper rifles, and the like? Surely aliens came up with something different when they were evolving. Or am I just going to deep into this?
Technically we do have 'cooler stagecoaches' in the form of motor vehicles. The engine fulfills the role of the horses.

It's logical to assume that intelligent species hit "milestones" in technological development (ie. A spear is a spear from Earth to Palaven, or that black powder you made can propel something quicker and easier then a bow.)
Still, no one came up with the idea of strike-craft carriers until humans did.
I assume that finger quotes are also a "milestone".

You have to admit that the idea of a carrier isn't essential for the development of military tech if a standard dreadnought/cruiser combo is enough to take out any attacker.
It's also supposed to show how damn stagnant the Council races are, and in my opinion a sign why joining up with them rather then take control is a bad idea. There was a Cerberus news article about this actually, it was about a book by some author who argued that extensive contact with other races is a bad thing, since it pretty much destroys innovative drive (why develop your own solution to a problem when you could copy what the Salarians built?)

Makes sense.

Two options, steal what other council races have made and build on it ourselves or build something of our own anyway and judge it against the Salarian model. Humans don't have to stagnate and numerous examples prove that. Humans developed our own Biotics and made L5 implants giving humans, a race who only just discovered Biotics, powers comparable to the most powerful Council races. Along with Stealth drives and Medigel, humans come up with some of the better technological advancements. We haven't slowed down, we're just dragging the rest of the Council races with us now.
Started another play through of ME1 as I never got a chance to play a post Bring Down the Sky game.
Before I decide to save the council does anyone care to tell me what difference it makes in ME2?
