Started another play through of ME1 as I never got a chance to play a post Bring Down the Sky game.
Before I decide to save the council does anyone care to tell me what difference it makes in ME2?
1. Save Council: Not really anything, besides different dialogue.
2. Dead Council: Asari show up and start bitching about Humans, Shepard proceeds to bitch slap them verbally. Dialogue is more anti-human, and there is a LOT of foreshadowing about the Council races declaring war on Humanity (which they see as a rogue state.)
Dead Council sounds heavy, I never even noticed.
On another note, my Quarian facebook is done 8)

Well I know the Dead Council option already. That was my first choice when I played Mass Effect as I hated the council and their condescending comments towards humanity. They kind of made it so the council was asking for it.
I didn't choose to kill the council, I chose to concentrate on Sovereign because he was going to take more lives than would have been saved if I saved the council. But either way Sovereign is killed
Human vessels are so superior at destroying Geth ships, we destroyed several harassing the council as soon as we arrived.

I also found it funny how 5 Turian cruisers weren't able to take out the remaining Geth ships (I believe it was 5 they showed during the "let the Council die" cutscene) even though they are supposedly the strong arm of the Council.
Of course, you also have to realize that the remaining Geth ships tore apart 6-7 Human Cruisers even after we took out a good portion of them in the initial volley.

What? I left the council die in order to save a greater amount of lives in general.

I just hated the council :frown:
Here are your tanks, you crazy tank lover :v:

I always thought that leaving the council to die was impractical. Dozens of soldiers die every day with little to no effect, and if one president goes down, it can start the next world war for all we know.
Anyway, Mass Effect: Inquisition is a free ME comic that you can find here
Lots of foreshadowing there, and well...DAMNIT UDINA.
I saved the council, improves human relations, and the Turians were considering reparations for the Relay 314 incident(Shanxi).

If I remember correctly, the council ship (forgot the name) has tens of thousands in the crew...
Destiny Ascension and yeah, 10,000 crew members.
I assume that finger quotes are also a "milestone".
:v:
Ah yes, "Finger Quotes".
We have dismissed that claim.

Plus, you can verbally smack down that reporter by listing the 8 ships that got blown up. Being bull rushed on her own show is humiliating.
Eh, punching is more satisfying...
[editline]14th November 2010[/editline]
Then again I'm a caveman...
Better yet, punch her both verbally and literally at the same time.
so, do we all agree more Battle orinentated vehicles should be in mass effect
I'm not a fan of vehicles, the Mako and firewalker were kinda shitty to control. There's also little point for a slow, heavily armoured battle tank when they can just nuke you from orbit. If you're gonna have anything worthwhile, it's gotta be an attack chopper or the futuristic equivalent. Something fast moving with lots of guns on it.
A Mantis Gunship ?

And this is why I will never allow Udina to be Councilor.

That was a nice comic.
LMAO....looks pathetic. I love ME 1and 2, and look forward to the last chapter in the not too distant future. But this? This is just garbage being dumped on the public to make a few more dollars. The best thing they should have done was to sell the movie rights to the trilogy to Peter Jackson or George Lucas, and have them professionally put it on the movie screen. That's how it is done.
The internet at its finest, when it has absolutely no idea what it's talking about. :frogdowns:
Hah, George Lucas making a good sci-fi movie after Star Wars.
Yeah I loved Indianna Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.
